ABANDONED. Short story. AI writes book, it's great, it's lost.

[The Elusive]

It was writen for a book-writing-AI contest. The AI was written in an odd/old computer language, which only ran in an outdated machine. It's written like an account by someone which either attended the contest or investigated about it latter on (A journalist?) The book was mysteriously lost, and is only known by excerpts or maybe personal accounts of people who read it. There may be troubled remembering details?
As always, I am not 100% sure if my memory of it is correct. Read it in English, downloaded it from the web in a PDF file.

No, the book doesn't really exist. Only this short piece talking about it, two or thee pages long. It was more like a masterpiece of a human writer than randomly generated prose.
