Finally getting around to Endymion

The next *actual* book in the Hyperion series (seeing as how Fall of Hyperion was actually the second part)

A few chapters in, I can tell this is a horse of a different color already...

Ah, by the time you finish all 4 books it could possibly end up being the same horse in disguise.

I found the second two completely different from the first two. I enjoyed them all; just in different ways.

Yes, they are different stories, but you learn more that impacts on how you understand the first two stories.

Yeah, after reading Hyperion and The Fall of Hyperion, starting Endymion was a little jarring to me. But once I got into the rhythm of it, I really enjoyed it. I'm currently about 11% into The Rise of Endymion. Half of me hopes that the August book pick is what everybody is thinking it will be...I've already read that one, so I'll have more time for The Rise of Endymion.
