How do you think they are going to spilt the movie into two? Where do you think they are going to break it off? Is it a good or bad idea? Share your thoughts here!

Really? I mean they did the same thing with Breaking Dawn, but I still dont like the idea very much. I mean, I think they are only doing it to get more money cause Mockingjay is the biggest ook ect... I just don't think its fair to make to make the fans sit for the other hafe of the movie, when they could have easliy made it one whole movie. In other ways though, I agree with what they are doing. If they made it into a full movie in would be what three, four hours long? I'm just worried about how many parts they are going to take out completly because of the split.

Okay yes, but I also think they are just spilting it for money. Imean Mockingjay is the biggest book in the series so it was bound to make the most money anyway but spilting it means two different profits for the same movie.
I feel like they always do it for money and to keep the fans more on their toes. :)

If they were going to split any movie in two, it should've been Catching Fire. There's a little more in that one. And where are they gonna split the movie??? There's not that much to Mockingjay!

Like, they're already waiting excitedly, now they're going to have to wait even longer. And if it's split in two it'll be split right at a cliff-hanger-ish thing. So I guess that's not on their toes, just more like excited extra long. :)

If they are gonna spilt any movie I think it should be CF. It would give non-fans to catch up (read both books, watch the first movie etc..) But why split MJ into 2 for. The fans already have to wait a long time as it is and if you wait longer I think you're going to lose fans.
They are splitting up Catching Fire. If you haven't seen the teaser trailer. The first part that come over in November is just the tour then when the other half comes out which I'm guessing will be in 2014 is the QQ and everything else.
If they put more information into it then The Hunger Games then ill be fine with the split of the movie but I think people would be happy the sit threw that movie:)
Hey! (It's been ages since I've been here!) I think it's good that the movie's being split, because that way they can show more and don't have to skip things and rush it. If they just did it as one film, then I'm pretty sure not many people would be happy because they would think it seemed to rushed, and that many important scenes were left out. Sure, they could be doing it for the money, but I think it's way better than just one movie if they split it into two parts.
(Nice to see you again. ) yes but, Mockingjay isn't the only movie getting split they are also spiking Catching Fire. (I'm making a topic for that now)
I think they will split it right when they rescue Peeta and he tries to attack Katniss. That would really make people want to wait till the next part! I don't agree with them splitting it into 2 parts, but they'll definitely make more money that way.
True, but it's not like a TV show where we'd get to see the second half next week we have to wait a whole year! So, I think they are going to be pretty careful on how they spilt Mockingjay.
Are they still going to split Catching Fire? I don't know about that, because if you go on IMBD (the movie website) I'm pretty sure it says Catching Fire - 2013, Mockingjay Part 1 - 2014 and Mockingjay Part - 2015. So they're obviously aiming to finish up the trilogy by 2015. I'm pretty sure that's what it says..somewhere on the website, and IMBD is really reliable.
Maybe. What I've gathered though from Mockingjay.net and such is they are splitting Catching Fire as well. Something about money(why is everything always about money?) and by splitting Catching Fire into two parts they would get more money out of it because its not the longest book in the series or something... I don't really know.

hmmm...well, I guess we'll find out soon enough. And yes..everyone is all about money these days! I honestly hope they don't split catching fire..I don't know if I could put up with another year of waiting for the quarter quell :( But oh well, it might be so they can fit more in..(or just earn more money :l)
