Alright so does anyone else think that this entire book was based on sex? Just a Question.

No, I don't.

Have you read 50 Shades Of Grey?
Now that was originally written as Twilight fan fiction.....and yes - THAT book is entirely based on sex!

You're not alone.

It was written by a Mormon, and Mormon culture places a great deal of importance on marriages. Most Christians marry for life (till death do us part), but Mormons marry for eternity (afterlife included). You've got to know that about Stephenie Meyer to understand why relationships are so important to her.

Erin O'Riordan I'm saying that sex is special to Stephenie Meyer because, from her point of view, choosing a sexual/marriage partner is a very, very important aspect ...more

Ida, that was very rude, and second. It's based of desire and love, not sex alone. The desire of wanting children and a family. The desire of wanting to live forever with your soulmate. And the desire to overcome challenges. The love you feel for one person and how it can be multiplied through love making, not "Sexing it up" as you put it, Ida. This book is beautiful and has everything a girl or guy could want in a book.

- The Obvious Wedding Scene for the romance
- The Honeymoon scene for a tasteful way to show that Edward an Bella love eachother and are comitted to eachother
- Pregnancy for all those who just love little babies and always wanted Bella and Edward to have a family
- The Pregnancy that gets escalated into death and a rush to save your soulmate's life
- Rebirth into a vampire, a supernatural creature of the night (which is just plain awesome)
- A little action and deception goes on with the VOLTURI
- And finaly, the love everlasting as Bella and Edward share their life together for eternity

Thank you.

the book is totally and completly NOT based on that. Its something married people do...and they just got married.

i dont think so... just the 2ed half well not even half of the book its just like 30 or 40 pgs. seeing as the frist half was all about planing the wedding and the wedding. then the 2ed half of it was all about sex. and the 3rd part about it was mostly about the fighting. besides, 50 Shades of Gary is asposted to be like reallllly all about that. and some of the other books iv read about that. so in other words no i dont think so

Hehe. No, but sex was definitely a motivator in Bella's decisions. I don't blame her. The world is driven by sex, obsessed with it. It's pretty much human nature. Not a problem for me.

I thought the last book sucked (No pun intended). Sex or no sex...the last book spoiled the series.

Ugh, there always has to be one. Why are you guys getting so worked up over a book?? Its a book! Please try an act like mature adults (if u are not capable of doing so you will not be treated seriously). If you don't know what a huneymoon is, it is when two married people go away an have SEX. When one can not carry a baby from their husband they go to the doctors an gets someone else's sperm an gets pregnant by the person. Or they have SEX with that person. In a married relationship with a child you have to discuss your SEX life because your child is your priority an they JUST got married so they are still in the huneymoon stage. Thats ALL the sex in the book an ALL of it made sense. That was only like 30 pages of sex and the book is like 700 pages. This non sense for people to go all out an not look at the facts. Hehum. All I'm saying is that those 30 pages made logical sense.` And that if your not mature enough to read the book an understand that, your most likely not ready too.

why does it matter if it is or isn't about sex? obviously you have to be teen plus to read these books so shouldn't you know all about sex anyway and why most people have sex? LOVE. or are you just too immature to understand if so i recommend going back to picture books and if you want a challenge the rainbow fairies make good bed time stories for 4yrs + with little to get your head around.

No and yes about a little a ex but there is more the dissuasion was made one vampire two love three some people marrying young could work and the end of the world to eighteen which by the law of the usa are legal an adult it there not the hugest deed when I was in high school I Know of Five guy and five girl that got married in high school and they still married included one of my own
Cousin I for is not hugest deed as let they were out of high school at the time unlike the people I known I personally believe in married and common law marriage or just a commitment I belive on wait after high school and know each or while
I prefure and get got married letter in live but it but it not for everyone
and the sex Bella and Edward discussion a little as I said there was more to that look at both of the Personality traits of edward and balla that were the dissuasion was made and the age thing that way they got marry because of the Personality traits of edward and balla and the vampire thing as nothing really based on sex
