Mariah | 2 comments Hello everyone, I thought I'd add some of the books I have selected for fairy tale retellings. I have not read a lot of these books yet so I am noty sure if I have put them with the right stories. If you find one that is not correctly placed let me know! (:

Here is what I have:

Beauty and The Beast - http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

Cinderella -

Hansel & Gretel -

Hercules/Hades -

Little Red Riding Hood -
http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

Rumpelstiltskin -

Snow White -

I know I left a lot out and what not but these are my selection. Hope this helps.

Shauna | 1 comments Under retellings of Beauty and the Beast you have listed "East of the Sun, West of the Moon" and "East." Both of those are retellings of a fairy tale called "East of the Sun and West of the Moon." Under Snow White you list "Snow White and Rose Red" which is actually a completely different fairy tale than Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I just happen to know because it is one of my favorites.:-) If you want to read a translation of the original fairy tale, you can find it (and many others) at www.surlalunefairytales.com

Mariah | 2 comments I do know East of The Sun and West of The Moon - but I find it's mostly the Norway version of Beauty and The Beast so I actually did that one purpose. The snow white one I didn't know, Thank you! Thanks for the website! I've been trying to find the original East of The Sun because I LOVE the re-tellings!
