Diandra shook her head, "ah," she said, unable to hold it in. That hurt. She nodded, "I hope so." She watched him stand up. "I'm fine," she insisted. She glanced around, "Marc," she started, staring behind him with wide eyes, "I think we need to get out, now." A fire had started towards the nose of the plane, and it was spreading fast.

He smiled. "No problem." He closed his eyes, relaxing ever so slightly. He didn't fall asleep, but he wasn't totally alert. Dalton sighed and waited for Alvina to yell at him to wake up or something. He knew it was going to happen.

"Why I saved you?" he said. "Well...I couldn't watch you die. After talking to you and telling you some of my deep secrets, I couldn't let you die. I don't know." He shrugged a bit.

"...probably not," Dalton admitted truthfully. She was special to him, even though she inwardly hated him. He opened his beautiful blue eyes to look at her. Even with bloody, stringy hair she looked gorgeous.

Dalton smiled softly. She's warming up to me he thought. He didn't dare move closer to her. She might move away, leave, or get weirded out. So he kept his distance for both their sakes. But, wow, was she perfect! The only thing holding him back was her.

Crap, she looked away, he thought. Dalton sighed and shrugged. "I dunno. We should probably find somewhere to make a little camp and get food or water," he thought. They had to sometime, so why not now?

"How do you start a fire?" He never learned, so he felt stupid. He looked around for some stuff. He didn't see anything but snow, ice, snow and more SNOW. It annoyed him, frankly.

Marc glanced back and cursed under his breath. He looked around wildly. "I'll go see if they have an ax or something in the emergency locker," he said, trying to stay calm. He ran to the locker and pulled the door open, swearing as the jagged edge caught his arm. He found a long handled fire ax, and ran to the door and started hacking at it. "Stay low!" he shouted to Diandra.

Simba~Rosita

When Rosita leaned against his chest, Simba wrapped an arm protectively around her before he looked down at her hand.
"When did it happen?" he asked her softly, worried about her.
Despite everything, she seemed calm. Simba had been impressed by her. Not many eighteen year olds had the kind of job she had and actually liked it.

Rosita~Simba

Rosita relaxed into his arm that encircled her, and replied, "When we landed, I think. My wrist feels...out of place. It might be dislocated." She was incredibly glad of his nearness and protectiveness. She was normally very independant, but she had immediately, instinctively trusted Simba.

"Marc!!" Diandra said and looked around, "did you hear something?" she asked. She could have sworn she beard her name, but she was losing blood and fast so she wasnt sure. She saw the ax and ducked down, wishing she could help him somehow. She hadn't realize how close they were to the fire as she stared at the wall of flames.

Dalton nodded and obeyed. He went out to find twigs and such. He was in a forest by now, and forgot where he had come from. I'm screwed, he thought with a sigh. He picked up a few branches and sticks.

"No!" he shouted, chopping desperately until there was finally a big enough hole. He crawled back to Diandra as the flames inched closer, and asked, "Can you get up? We need to get out of here!!" He slid an arm around her waist and lifted her to her knees.

Simba~Rosita

She nodded and grabbed her rough backpack, gritting her teeth and closing her eyes. "Just do it quickly," she moaned, breathing in gasps.

"I could have sworn!!" She called, "Mirage?!" she yelled, thinking she heard her. She shook her head, which she instantly regretted. The flames were panicking her. When Marc lifted er to her knees she tried to stand. "Oh gosh," she moaned as dizziness overtook her and her vision started to blacken. She tried to stand up, but failed.

Liam said," It's going to be fine." He remembered Laney and wiped the snow out of his eyes. He could just see Laney and a younger boy.

Dalton finally made his way back to where they were with dry stick and such. He did exactly as she said: lined them up like a tent and lit them. Soon enough, there was a nice, warm fire. He sighed in relief, hoping it wouldn't go out.

Laney was astounded at Sammy's comment. Yet, he was trying to help instead of just giving up and complaining about everything that was wrong with his life. "That's amazing. I never wold have guessed." She saw Liam walking over to them with another girl. When he asked if they were alright, she gestured to her arm and shook her head, the pain making it to much to as much else.

" Yes. I'm fine. Though her arms broken." He said quietly.
Hannah saw his blank eyes to and was amazed that he was able to help the girl so much.

He sighed and rubbed his hands over the fire. He looked around, wondering if anyone needed warmth. Dalton slowly warmed up. He wondered where Alvina was. He hoped she wasn't far, or she was on her way back. You needa stop worrying about her...just relax...she's more skilled than you anyway.

Dalton smiled. "I know, I'm impressed too." He looked into the crackling orange flames, his eyes sparkling. "I wonder if other people need it..." He didn't want anyone to die from hypothermia, so he would offer them a seat by the fire.

He shrugged. "We could. But we should settle down for a bit, don't you think?" He was getting a bit tired and wanted to look for some food later. He was sure the other people were fine, but if he took chances, he would regret it.

He shrugged a bit. "Eh. Not really. I'm either 'working' or...uh...nevermind." He didn't want to say what else he did in his freetime. She might thing badly of him if he said he made love to women as a 'hobby.'

"The same goes with you." He smirked and looked at her. "I guess we're a little team of two for this." Dalton looked around the snowy wasteland. He gave a little sigh before scooting closer to the fire.

Dalton smiled. "Thanks." He felt good knowing he wasn't the only person on earth who wasn't educated. He leaned back and stared into the fire. He looked up at the sky. "It's getting dark..."

He nodded. "It makes me think it's late at night." He yawned. "Now I'm tired." Dalton looked over at her. "Are you?"

He leaned against a tree. "Well, then go to sleep. Does your head still hurt?" He looked at her, concerned.

Dalton was close to her. Without thinking, he gently brought her closer and stroked her hair soothingly to lull her to sleep. He softly rubbed her head to make it feel better.

He smiled a bit and kept doing that until he fell asleep, Alvina in his arms. It felt right to him, like they were meant to be on that plane together so he could save her, or so this could happen.

Dalton's breathing was even and happy that she was there. His arms were wrapped around her stomach.

"Er..." Jay shifted uncomfortably, grimacing as he felt the pull on his shoulders. "How about I hold onto Katie and you climb down. I can try to lower her to you. You need to..." he winced, "get down soon. I can hold onto Katie as long as I need, but not... both of you."

Kris and Jay~Alexi
"I heard... something." Kris agreed, nodding. She turned, scanning the trees in the direction of the sound, and her eyes lit up. She caught at the medic's sleeve. "Look!" she said eagerly, pointing at the cloth of a parachute just visible between the trees. "One of the jumpers is out there!" She headed for the copse at a wary pace, half afraid that her earlier dizziness would return. Searching the forest ground, she missed the figures dangling about a foot above her head.
"Hey! Hey you!" Kris started and winced at the sharp pain that stabbed through her head in response. She looked up and her eyes widened. Not one but two people were suspended from the caught parachute. "Could you give us a little help here?" A young man's strained voice requested. He was peering down at her from around his companion's shoulder, and his arms, trembling with the effort, were wrapped tightly around her.

Poppy had finally found a tree in which to sleep. She had sent Sparky out to catch whatever he could, and had come back with a fairly good load.

Finally understanding how much pain Jay was in, she quickly agree. "Okay," she nodded as she stared down at the ground, "okay." She looked down at the young woman from below. "Lower me down," she said to Jay, voice slightly shaky.

Dalton felt himself slowly wake up. He got a little confused when he saw Alvina in his arms, but soon remembered what happened. He smiled ever so slightly. "Morning," he whispered, his voice a bit husky.
He looked at the fire and saw that it went out. Today, they should find real shelter and such. It was cold without the warming flames, but Alvina made him warmer. Inside and out.

He shifted a bit so she was more comfortable. "Had a good sleep?" Dalton saw the little puffs of his breath in the air. He sighed, seeing that was a good indicator that it was going to be a cold day. He looked at the wound on the back of her head and brushed some hair away to get a better look.

"Sorry," he murmured, feeling her flinch. He was glad it wasn't bleeding anymore. "Yeah, it was nice. Does it still hurt bad?" He was referring to the wound. His shoulder still hurt, but not as bad as yesterday.

Dalton shrugged. "A bit better. Almost the same." He gave her a little reassuring smile. "Thanks." He didn't want to move either, but he knew they had to at one point in time.
"Where do you wanna head out to? We gotta go somewhere else." They needed to have their own little team to find a way out of here.

He shook his head. "I was perfectly fine. And yeah, I think there's some lake nearby. We could go there," he suggested. Maybe they could chip a section of the ice off and drink from it if it was clean.

Dalton nodded and stood up reluctantly. He helped her up as well and began leading the way to the frozen lake.

Kris circled the two anxiously.
"Okay, I think Alexi and I can help her down if you lower her a bit." she said, stretching up to peer at the parachute caught on the branches above. "Then we can see about getting you cut down. Jay nodded in response. Gritting his teeth, he gripped Tasia's arms and focused on keeping his hold as he lowered her towards the ground. "Let me know when you've got her." he said tersely, flicking a glance at the two people below.

Marc swung her into his arms as she started to black out. "Stay with me, Diandra," he begged. "I'll get us out of here." He pushed through the small opening he had made, struggling to get his wide shoulders through, and being careful that Diandra didn't get snagged on the jagged edges of the cut metal. He stepped out into the snow...

((Ash, all of the exits were smashed when the plane crashed. They got crushed and folded in on themselves and stuff. That's why Marc had to hack his way out with an ax. And yes, Matt can see Shawn with Jasmine ^^))

Feeling herself ring lifted, Diandra shook her head, which almost did her over. "I'm fine, Marc. Make sure you are," she whispered. She tried to blink away the dark pinpoints that started filling her vision. She tried to keep her eyes plastered open, but she slipped into darkness. The cut on her forehead was long, and deep. To her bone, but since it was her forehead that didn't seem that hard.

Tasia~ Jay, Kris, and Alexi
Tasia felt the strain on Jay and took a deep breath. She grubbed his hand as he lowered her down. She looked down, "I-I think I'm close enough to jump, or be caught. I really can jump," she insisted, just wanting desperatly to lighten Jay's weight. She stole a look up at him, worry etching her face.

Dani slowly woke up. She didn't realize what had happened, but she could barely asses she had been knocked out when they landed. She tried to get up but figured she was trapped. "Help!" she tried to shout but it came off weakly.

Rosita smiled gratefully. "Thanks," she said, pulling the coat tighter around her slim shoulders. "Its okay, it had to be done. I'm just glad that it was you." She leaned into him as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and squeezed his hand gently.

Shawn looked down at the dog in his arms. She was whining, and he tried to calm her. "Hey, what's the matter, girl? You hear something?" He looked up and saw a guy looking around frantically. "Is that your master, huh?" He stood up, holding the dog so she didn't bolt, and started walking over to the guy. "Hey, this your dog?" he called.

Marc brushed a finger across her lips. "Shh, I've got you, and I'm not letting you go. I'm fine, but you aren't. Just keep still, and try to rest."

Dre heard a weak help, or could have sworn he did. He started walking to the sound, then running. He had to make sure everyone was okay. ((Is she in the plane?))
