I read this book a while ago but can't remember the title or author. The book starts with a newlywed returning home from her three week honeymoon to find divorce papers waiting for her. She along with her best friend join FBI training only to be dismissed the day wore graduation. While going thru FBI training, she uses their databases to look up any information on her ex-husband. She finds other ex's and meets them for lunch. The four women become fast friends. The main character and her BFF are then approached to join some type of operative training program on top of some mountain. They agree as long as their new friends (the other two ex's) can join also.
I remember one characters name is Pappy (i think) and he has a dog tht is half wolf.

I found it... It's The Marriage Game by Fern Michaels.
