I believe this is an edition of The Vikings. For ISBN 1841760579, I have an english language hardback (The Military Book Club edition) copyright 1985 using the same cover as ISBN 1855329433.

Okay, it should look a little better now. Is the only date in the book the copyright 1985? I am seeing three different dates for that edition, 1985 (copyright), 1999, and 2001. Is there anything indicating when that edition was published in the book?

All mine lists is the original copyright, although from the look & feel it was printed much more recently. Filmset in Great Britain, printed in China. The cover (front, back & spine) has inset text boxes for "Osprey Military" & "The Military Book Club**".

I changed it to 1985. Books get reprinted all the time, so it's very possible that yours is a newer reprint. :)
