I really liked this ending. It was really well written and as you said stuck to the characters. Even if it's not SC's version of what happened, I'm glad to finally have a picture I didn't have to make up myself... I'm just lazy like that. :P
that's what I thought too. it was nice. I liked the ending of mockingjay personally, and this didn't contradict it so I really liked it
No, I'm not the author but I wish I was :) I have no idea who it is, but her/his screen name is on the page somewhere. And yeah, there are quite a few chapters which actually get better and better as they go along. I like the ending a lot :)
I'm up to chapter 4, and it's amazing! It has heaps of info that I missed out on in Mockingjay, and it's written the same as Suzanne Collins would have written it.
I skimmed a few chapters in the middle but I saved it so I could print and read it again when I have more time. :) I looked at the author's page on that website and she wrote a few other hunger games stories too, but much shorter

Wow i really enjoyed reading this. It's a great alternative ending, one of hope and encouragement that they find the love they thought they lost or was scared to show. It would be great to see this in the last film too, especially as it looks as if they are splitting Mockingjay into two films! Well done to the author, she did a great job : )

Usually I read them planning on getting upset because the characters are so out-of-character or they just butcher the beauty of the ending... but this one didn't change anything. This author wrote and expanded story based on ending of Mockingjay. It tells about Katniss and Peeta and how they grew back together, all the flashbacks and nightmares they endured. She did a wonderful job, kept the characters true to what Suzanne Collins intended and I was blown away by it. I actually wish this book was published, as I think a little editing and polishing it could pass for the fourth book almost.
Just my opinion. Read it for yourself.
