SOLVED. Romance: recluse- she calls random numbers but never says anything. [s]

Im pretty sure its a short novella prob less than 100 pages. It's about a young woman who lives alone in an apartment in a city. She has a huge collection of phone books that take up wall in her apartment. She calls random numbers but never says anything until one number!

*SPOILER*
When she answers the guy on the other end says something really ridiculous i think about a morgus and she instinctually answers but then wont say anything else but he keeps talking. He asks if it's Jen which i'm pretty sure is close to her name. She hangs up but she rings again, and she eventually talks to him more and more and they have a realtionship of sorts. Then he asks if he can come visit. This spurs her into getting rid of the phone books. He comes and they get their HEA.

Which probably means that it got adapted.
