Oriole looks over at Scarlett sitting against the wall. She walked over with a kind smile. "Can I join you?" she asked.

Oriole smiled and sat beside her, smoothing out her skirts.

"What's your name?" Scarlett asks

"Oriole," she replied. "and you?" she asked, holding out her hand.

"Scarlett," she said and she shook Oriole's hand cautiously

"Nice to meet you," Oriole smiled kindly.

Oriole looked up as another girl came in. She looked quite happy from her skipping.

Oriole stood to be level with her. "My names Oriole," she introduced herself. She held out her hand with a smile.

"Human as far as I know," Oriole replied with a small grin. "What about you?"

Oriole's eyes widened. "That's so cool!" she breathed.

Oriole smiled. "Would you like to sit with us?" she asked gesturing at the ground.
