Anastasia | 4 comments I'm looking for a book which involves a girl who finds a crystal sphere, and upon pressing it to her temple, discovers that it holds a memory. From what I recall, this memory was a man's, of a woman he loved, and a summer day they spent together. I think this girl also has an 'empty' crystal that she wants to use for a memory, anyway, this has been troubling me for a long time and any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Gate Of Ivory series perhaps?

Anastasia | 4 comments No, I don't think so, but thank you. It could have been a YA/ children's book.

Anastasia, are you still looking for this book?

Anastasia | 4 comments Yes! Although now I seem to recall it was definitely more in the 'supernatural' genre - kisune were mentioned, I believe.

Mir | 805 comments Could it possibly be a story from the Natsume's Book of Friends series? I know there was one with memories of love, and they might have been stored in a mirror or other vessel (mirrors appear in several stories).

A REALLY long shot, but they use something similar in Retread Shop (but that's pretty much sci-fi, no supernatural elements.)

Still looking?

Catherine | 5 comments Could it have been a Vampire Diaries book? They don't exactly follow the show, and the kitsune are mentioned.
