Hope so too Nancy.Haven't read romance for a while, so its good to take a break from suspense and thrillers. I enjoy discovering new authors and I'm glad that there are so many books out by her that I haven't read yet. They are especially enjoyable for the holiday season.

This is my first time reading one of her books. I love historical romances - especially when it is Highlanders series or English.
So far it's okay...characters are not too silly...so fingers crossed it builds and explodes. :)

I am reading You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks. Book about deception, sisterhood, revenge.

Our local libraries and bookshops are all closed because of covid-19 outbreak. I got lots of TBR books at home, so no lack of reading material for now. I may also re-read Kiss Me While I Sleep by Linda Howard and perhaps watch some movies (but will avoid Contagion movie).

I've got a friend who reads Dee Henderson and really likes her too. My library has the O'Malley Series and the Uncommon Heroes Series as audio books. Do her characters from one series show up in other series?

The O’Malley series characters don’t spillover,
maybe one prequel type book.
These newer books have a character: Ann Silver who is a common thread.

I haven’t read the Uncommon Heroes series so don’t know anything about that one (yet :)!

I'm 25% into Holy Moly talk about a pandemic. How about a coronal mass ejection - CME for short or a massive sun flare for us moron types. This CME destroys the power grid for the entire world and Sela and Ben are left to handle life in a Wears Valley in the mountains of eastern Tennessee. One problem, at this point, Ben doesn't want anything to do with anyone, except maybe Sela. Which pandemic would you prefer?

I'd say: Neither!
Sadly a pandemic is reality; people get sick, die and suffer because of it. And no one knows when things can turn back to normal.

I think its time to re-read Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Life's too short for depressing books.

I am reading The Temptation of Gracie by Santa Montefiore. Gracie, a shy, quiet, 68-year-old widow, decide to go to Italy, Tuscany for a cookery course and to revisit her past. Her workaholic daughter and 17-year-old granddaughter accompany her. Its new-to-me author. Surprisingly enjoyable story with beautiful setting.
