Stranger with My Face question

I tuned in to Lifetime one time and saw this movie and it seemed oddly similar. I then realized it was based on the book I read when I was a teenager by Duncan. Though I liked the movie, I wasn't quite sure if it did the book any justice. I felt the book was much better (as most books are that have made it to the big screen) and the movie could've been depicted better. Have you seen it...What do you think?
