Mousep | 2 comments Hi all,
The book was owned by my father, and translated to Chinese, so I think it must be published before 1980.
It is a collection of short stories about devil, vampire or ghost. But I don't think they are horror or scary.
The first few stories are very short, only less than 10 pages. But the rest stories are about 20~30 pages or more longer.

*** spoiler warning ***

One of the story is about a priest, maybe a merchant? and a guilty person with an axe are walking on the road. Some of them are talking and praising the god. Suddenly a man tell them the Satan is attacking the god, and the god is losing. Most of them then want to join the devil side, but only the guilty man with an axe want to side with god and fight the devil.
Another story is about a male vampire married with a human woman. He became very depressed and don't do anything all days. Only thing he do was flying out during the storm days to dry the clothes. His wife is angry to him. But in the end of the story, he become energized again and found a way to fly without being figure out by other human. It's let their children kite him.
In another story I remember it has some devils doing dancing.

*** end of spoiler ***

The above is all I can remember now. If any one can help me find out what is this book I'll be very appreciated.

Cornelia Shields | 52 comments The middle story is "Uncle Einar" by Ray Bradbury. The others are not by him, so must be an anthology including "Uncle Einar."

Sent Mousep a PM about finding that first story. This is his only activity in GR, so no idea if he will come back or no.

Hmmm, I think I need to dig out the original book in the old home.
