This story was a total enjoyment, keeping me up long into the night because I could not put it down. I liked that vampires were not lovable creatures and the prospect of an impossible love between two different beings as dissimilar as light and day.
I think that Josie would totally dig the Beauty and the Beast theme here.

Started it today and not bad.
Another freebie that is worth a bump up is

Did not read like a freebie. Story arc of series and book descriptions are enticing (plus well reviewed by friends). I abandoned 30% thru because the bakery aspect that some reviewers found charming just irritated me personally (the endless flat lists of flavor combinations got on my last nerve) in what I thought would be more paranormal adventure plus not so into the romantic interest as I took Timothy immediately in dislike. Seriously, not picking on the writing style, writing or copyediting (I usually do with freebies) so I think this one just hit more personal tastes wrong and others will really enjoy the whole series.
BUMP

I enjoyed. But basically a lighter screwball style chick lit with his and her ghosts thrown in and a rather easygoing romance. So if grimmer UF is your glee instead of lighthearted PNR this one might not be for you.
