Dana ****Reads Alot**** I still don't understand how EL James decided to go with a virgin in this book which makes it all so unbelievable. Never would a virgin agree to a contract before even having sex.

well i might of considered it for a pretty face i mean for the most part virgins are naive about sex and things like that and a hot guy could easily be persuasive specially since she kept feeling that connection with him

True, but most naive young girls would want a relationship not a strictly sexual contract.

thats also true, not all tho (my personal experience) i was the awkward loner kid in highschool i just didnt wanna stand out and all the cool kids were doin it lmao but then again thats different then being an "ADULT" in that postion

message 1656: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna i do think tho with her being a virgin it was crappy the way he went about takin her virgnity he (in my opinon) acted like it was a burden

message 1657: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna (Random rambling) i Kinda want Ian Somerhalder to play CG i love that man to death, i know Matt Bomber looks more the part tho :( i think they are both yummy

Kristin (KC) Jenna wrote: "(Random rambling) i Kinda want Ian Somerhalder to play CG i love that man to death, i know Matt Bomber looks more the part tho :( i think they are both yummy"

I agree, about the both of them being eligible ;) Is the movie definitely in the works, or just a consideration at this point?

message 1659: by Wanda (new) - rated it 2 stars

Wanda How can you comment if you don't read it? I kept thinking that they would get to the plot..Ha! if you put the actually story in a book it would require about 100 pages. All the rest seems like smut to me..just my opion...

Hey! Don't buy into that stereotype. I find most "dumb" blondes are actually brunettes who've dyed their hair and use it as an excuse. There are so many incredibly intelligent blondes out there and you might be one of them. Don't sell yourself short!

It's okay to like this book no matter what your intelligence level. In fact, I don't find this book to be stupid at all.

He only acted like that until it was over.. then he found out that he quite liked vanilla!!

message 1665: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna i know i got that from reading it, but im just talkin about how he was acting going into it (no pun intended lol)

message 1666: by Karen (new) - rated it 4 stars

Karen He definitely acted like that going into it. I was surprised she agree to do it based on his attitude. I probably would have walked at that point.

message 1667: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna yea me personally i would of punched him in his pretty boy face and told him to kick rocks

LMFAO!!!! I don't know if i would have gone that far! I kind of liked his pretty boy face, and bossy pants attitude... I guess that's why I liked the book, but.... I am not a 21 year old virgin!!!! (unfortunately)

message 1669: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna lol it would of pained me to do so since he is in my mind very attractive since james made him so but yea i thought he was rude about it

Kristin (KC) Jenna wrote: "lol it would of pained me to do so since he is in my mind very attractive since james made him so but yea i thought he was rude about it"

I'm definitely going to have to read these books again bc I remember his bad attitude, but I was quite surprised he was breaking his own rules for her by having "vanilla" sex. I can't remember if he acted like a total ass about it, or not.

message 1671: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna he just seemed all huffy about it like he was goin out of his way to do this favor for her so she could say she wasnt so she could decide on the contract

message 1675: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna we are talkin about the first time they had sex, when he took her virgnity

message 1676: by Mimi ❤ (new)

Mimi ❤ People who are disliking this book aren't only disliking this book because it's a "sex book". This book might have not appealed character wise or maybe plot wise, or maybe the sex wasn't written well. Your statement rubs off as a little judgemental. There are plently of other reasons why someone may dislike this book

message 1677: by Easty (last edited Aug 26, 2012 08:12PM) (new)

Easty Read the first book but won't be reading the other two. Just not an interesting story line and the writing is just ok.

You're right. I remember that he was annoyed when he found out she was a virgin and said he would've never hooked up with her if he had known that.

Karen Jenna wrote: we are talkin about the first time they had sex, when he took her virgnity

Yes, and he said that he would not consider moving forward with this contract with a "virgin". Therefore if they were even going to consider moving forward, they were going to have to "take care of that." Meaning her virginity. That was when he agreed to have vanilla sex with her. But, when they actually slept together, he admitted to her that it was a first for him, how much he enjoyed it, and he "let" her sleep in his bed with him all night, another first.

yea :) so yea he might of enjoyed it afterward but i thought he was a huge jerk at the start

He was definitely a jerk... but that made his transformation that much sweeter. It took a while, but he definitely changed his ways. Besides I found his mercurial moods kind of hot actually!!! Call me a masochist!

Is there going to be a fourth? I hadn't heard that.

I'll warn you... You will probably not like the third book. It was my least favorite. Of the three, I found this one more repetitive than the others. But then again, I liked the controlling jerk right from the beginning. I think I got bored with him once he got too sappy. He's still hot... still controlling, but maybe just more predictable. I'll be interested to see what you think. I'll have to look up info on a fourth book.

message 1687: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna from what ive been reading the 4th is from his POV
and yea Kris is waiting to see what i think of the 3rd too lol Maybe after i finish Easy ill start it lol

message 1688: by Karen (new) - rated it 4 stars

Karen I really liked Easy!!! What do you think so far? I've read so many great books this year, and my TBR list is now a mile long!!

I think I would really like this book from Christian's POV. I am dying to get into that f**k'd up head of his!!

message 1689: by Jenna (new) - rated it 1 star

Jenna i think (my opinon since ive only read the 2) it would be easier to read from his POV not so much annoying stuff as long as his Inner Dom or Inner Sub doesnt comes into the book. I just didnt really like it from anas view

Kristin (KC) Karen- I feel the same way- can't wait to get front row seats in Christian's mind! I absolutely LOVED the teaser at the end of book 3 in his POV.

Jenna- did you start Easy? Are you liking it? And have you read Obsidian? I just finished it and loved it! Im on to Onyx, now.

Kristin (KC) I'm really glad you're enjoying Easy! I have to get a feel of what kind of books you like so I don't recommend ones you don't like...

But I think you will like Obsidian. It's a series, only two are out and it's a paranormal story involving aliens. But the sexy kind lol. Anyway, the story is amazing and the writing is fantastic; very witty and humorous dialogue. I really think you'd like it :)

I loved his transformation and the intensity of his love for Ana. I cringed the first time she touched his chest. I thought it was a physical pain, but it was emotional too. I'm finishing it for the 3rd time and will probably read it again. I'm listening to Snow Patrol, The Lightning Strike. It's on FSOG music track. I bought the CD A Hundred Million Suns by Snow Patrol. Fantastic music! The music is all Christian & Ana. (sigh!)
