I would chose Fred, Sirius, Tonks and Lupin. These characters didn't need to die, because the deaths weren't crucial. If these characters didn't die, they won't affect any big events in the story. I would have added Dumbledore too, but his death had to occur, or else Voldemort and the other death eaters wouldn't have trusted Snape completely.
Definitely Dumbledore! But if I had a second choice it would be Fred cause it's just too sad to think about George without him.
I really do think - although many were truly devastating and emotional - that nearly all of the deaths were a necessary part in HP and each death kind of had some sort of positive outcome/importance to the story, HOWEVER... FRED?! No. That was just unnecessary. What did poor little freddle do to anyone :(((

He would've given Harry a proper family."He's the first person that came to my mind, I always got so angry about that, but I think his death was important in that cyclical nature of Edward Lupin being Harry in the sense that he had no parents but 'metaphorical family' instead of like the Weasley's had with Harry. But otherwise, I totally agree.
I think I would choose Dobby because he was such a cute, kind and polite character and I cried for so long when he died.
Zoe :) wrote: "why are people saying fred, as if hes dead🙄✋ bruh fred never died🙄🙄🙄🙄"Yes he did, he died in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows during the Battle of Hogwarts.
Jk Rowling said this on Twitter because everyone was asking why she killed Fred. "Today I would just like to say: I'm really sorry about Fred. *Bows head in acceptance of your reasonable ire*"
At first I thought it was a really difficult answer to give but then my brain found the answer really quick: Fred, hands down to it. I can't even imagine the loss of a sibling but loosing our other half must be terrible and I wish George didn't know that kind of pain.
I would want it to be Fred Weasley, because it would be fun to see how good the twins pranking skills, joking, and medaling skills get.
Hmm well I would have to say Fred, because I could not bear the thought of George losing a his twin, and the rest of the weasleys losing a sibling/son. But if we were to talk about Harry’s sake, I would have to say Sirius or Lupin. After his parents death, these two were the only possible NICE (@ the dursleys -_-) guardians he could have lived with. Harry finally had hope he would finally have a family after the war, but that was taken from him as Well. I do wish he could have lived with one of them, but he does have the weasleys, so I would have to probably go with saving Fred instead .
Really difficult choice to make. Fred, Sirius, or maybe Lupin. Fred for obvious reasons, he was so young & happy & had his whole life ahead of him. Plus the loss for George must be nearly unbearable.
Sirius because almost half his life was stolen from him & when he finally breaks free & wants to be a father to Harry, he gets killed. Also for Harry's sake. He gets brief moments of hope that he'll get have a family & someone who cares about & loves him. This isn't to say that the Weasley's aren't his family, just that it would be different with Sirius.
Lupin because he finally found happiness after a really hard life. & also for Teddy's sake, who has to grow up without parents. But thankfully he was surrounded by those who loved & cared for him. Lupin was also Harry's last real connection to his parents.
I do agree with others in that I would love to see how things would have changed for Snape if he had lived. & he was incredibly brave (for very selfish reasons), but that doesn't change the fact that he was also a huge bully to children.
Siruis because he could've been like a father for Harry. But I would honestly bring all the good ones back like Dobby,Tonk,Lupin,Dumbledore,Severus,James,Lily,Fred
i’d choose fred. i have a bunch of reasoning behind this.so fred is the other half of george. he deserved to live, as did the rest, but still.
at least in the end, all the marauders are TOGETHER…y’know? like all alive or all dead.
I’ll bring Sirius back, because he is like a second father to Harry and I would love to see Harry’s kids with Sirius. Also he really didn’t deserve to die that way
I would want to have Snape back, since he was actually a good man at heart and didn't deserve to die!!!!😭 but I would love it if Dumbledore or Fred could come back too!!!!!!!
Hands down Sirius. He deserved to live and have a life as a father to Harry. Also, Fred. I know I’m playing agains the rules, but I’m a rebel. 😉
Sirius.I could cope with others' death, but I could never come to terms with Sirius dying. Every time I read Order of Phoenix, I skip the battle in Death Chamber.
Sirius deserved to live and Harry deserved one fatherly figure.
And next in line would be Snape. I would have loved to see how his relation with Harry flourished.
If it were simply a question of opinion, I would say Severus Snape and Sirius Black. But this question needs to be approached in a matter-of-fact way, in which I would say Remus Lupin, because he has a son that needs raising. But not Dumbledore. I don't like him.

the problem is most of these people died with their significant other like Tonks, Lupin, Lily and James. But I wish Fred lived because George was broken forever without him, and DOBBY and HEDWIG PLZ
Fred. I also want to bring back Remus, Sirius, Tonks, Snape, and Dobby, but if I could only bring one back it would be Fred.
