Napoez3 | 158 comments I'm totally reading Year Zero, I like the concept... and I loved Rob's Ted talk.

Nick (whyzen) | 1295 comments Good interview! Didn't realize he was married to Morgan Webb till I checked out his wiki page. The book has been added to my never ending "to-read" list.

Rasnac | 336 comments Great interview! Year Zero seems like a very interesting book with a really creative and original core idea. And the author is a very smart and charming fellow. In the interview he says he never wrote any fiction before yet alone sci-fi until two years ago, but I would like to know what is his sci-fi background as a reader; especially if he read any Douglas Noel Adams, or watched any Red Dwarf? Idea of the novel has a very D.N.A feel to it.

By the way, will there be a bonus video later, or is it the whole interview? I couldn't besure because of the new format.

No more bonus interviews. We decided it was too artificial, splitting it up, so it's all in one go now.

Rasnac | 336 comments Thank you for the reply. I also think that uncut interview is way better.

Kris (kvolk) Best interview so far...Having them live in the studio really makes the energy flow...

I finally got around to joining the group on here. Not sure if I'll manage to read along with you guys, so I really love that you split it into two videos.

I'll generally watch the launch show to get an idea about the book you're reading, but skip the wrap-up to avoid the spoilers.

Keep up the good work.

Rob Reid (robreid) | 1 comments Hey Rasnac - in answer to your question, YES I'm a big fan of both DNA and Red Dwarf (I started with the original RD Dwarf book, and then started loading up on DVD's...)

Holy Smeg! I wasn't expecting a direct answer from the author himself. Thank you for your kind reply, Rob. :)

P.S. I can't wait for new "Red Dwarf X" series! :D

Ryan | 79 comments Love the new format. I like reading other people's posts here, but I always want to hear more from Tom & Veronica about what you thought of the books. I also had to turn off the previous video show in the middle and wait a few more days until I was done with Tigana. This solves both problems.

I would love to have the release schedule for the audio show tweaked a little (I don't know if this has been covered in another thread). Right now it seems like I wait almost two full weeks with no S&L, then get two things in rapid succession, then no more S&L for two weeks.

Because of our work schedules, there's just no way to tweak the release schedule of the audio show... unless you want old news.

Oh, that makes sense. Maybe we could have a 10 second podcast on off weeks that just says, "Hi, Veronica and Tom here. We miss you. Now get back to reading!"

Ha! I can already see the comments.

Philip (heard03) | 383 comments I dig the Winterfell Dire Wolves shirt. Homecoming for that football team could get real ugly in a hurry, especially if they're playing Casterly Rock High.

Jim (kskryptonian) | 202 comments I saw the dire wolves shirt and wondered when the FSL started making shirts!

Linguana | 151 comments Thank you so much for this interview. Without it, I probably would not have tried reading Year Zero. But Rob Reid was so much fun on the show already and the premise of the book sounded hilarious, so I bought it.

And now, just a few chapters in, I want to say thank you. Because I'm enjoying myself immensely. I chuckle, I laugh, I grin to myself knowingly. Oh, and @Rob Reid: I will never forgive you for Rickrolling me *hums never gonna give you up...* :)
