Yay @Harlee and @Jenny! I did Holiday baking yesterday with friends and still have more to do and today did some last minute Christmas shopping and still have more to do!

We did some holiday baking Saturday. We made double chocolate brrownies. I'm making some leek and chestnut purses on Christmas Eve as part of the food hubby and I will have between calls to and from family members on Christmas Day (since our family doesn't live near us, and we have to allow for two different timezones, we have our Christmas Dinner on the 26th so we don't have to try and cook and eat it between phonecalls).

I loove it when authors respond to questionstatements +++. On facebook, goodreads wherever. I have written a few reviews here on goodreads which authors have liked :D

I was so thrilled when Jessica Spotswood liked my review of . It made me want to read her books even more, just knowing that she cared about what her fans thought of her writing. I usually only give stars to my most favorite books and write reviews for about 1% of what I read so it was a treat that the author read and liked my review.

LOVE Jessica Spotswood and her books!! She mailed me a few signed bookmarks and swag last year for Christmas!

Planning on reading the final book in the trilogy this week I think :)

I just love it when authors pay attention to me on social media, its an awesome feeling! The book biz is the only place you come across it, too, most other businesses famous people don't interact with their fans like authors do!

Woot woot to the first day of FIVE days off!!! I still have a little bit of shopping left and then have to wrap presents for our family Xmas tonight on Xmas Eve. Tomorrow is maybe a movie and then catching up on my reading for the rest of the days off!!!

Oh, and sleeping... There will be sleeping and naps and more sleeping and more naps! I have to store it up! ;)

We had a wonderful Christmas. Tessa was SO EMOTIONAL when she opened her tablet, she was seriously crying tears of joy! It was the best thing ever! She made out like a bandit this Christmas! Everyone loved their gifts :) And, more importantly, it was a nice night of family time. Besides a wonderful soup supper and presents, we played a few board games too!

My family also had an incredible Xmas. We also do ours on Xmas Eve. The grandkiddies all got bikes from their parents so we were all outside watching them ride around the neighborhood. I got all Barnes and Noble or Starbuck gift cards from my family. Do they know me or what??! I'm set for a few months at least!!

Glad to hear everyone had such a great Christmas! :)

Mine was pretty good, though I missed Kero terribly; he was always very involved in our holiday celebrations. But we watched Christmas movies, did holiday baking, and made a polar bear decoration, which were all fun activities. And we spoke to family, who all seem to have been enjoying their own holiday celebrations. Oh, and my double chocolate brownies and my leek and chestnut purses turned out amazing (if I do say so myself) and though we didn't have much under the tree this year I love what I got; it all involved books or chocolate, so what's not to love? I also know I have a late gift coming from my brother (caused by postal delays). Plus, since we have it on Boxing Day, we still have our Christmas dinner to look forward to.

So,my Library has this suggestion place on the website(you click on it,write details of books(title,author+++)and off course they cant take inn all the books people suggest but they can sometimes..
I just checked, they are ordering in 5 books I suggested.( Alexandra bracken books,the winners curse+++)
