Can I get a woot woot!
I feel like they stripped the movie of all the great book plots; Thomas/Teresa's telekinesis, Gally being more... Gally, he was to friendly for me, Minho seemed really flat, Thomas/Chuck's relationship was way way better in the book - like you said, a fair bit of what made The Maze Runner, The Maze Runner was gone. Very rushed, but as a movie itself it was very entertaining. I enjoyed the Grievers (I imagined them very differently, but it worked). Hopefully The Scorch Trials follows the storyline better.

We got a puppy!!! He's a poodle mix named Parker and he's so cute. My son has wanted a dog for so long-he's so happy.

OMG, if I got JK Rowling...major fangirling would happen, and I don't think I could utter a coherent sentence! JK Rowling is my favorite author ever, and the one I'd be most excited to meet!!! Well, except for David Estes ;) But as 99.9999% sure I'll be meeting him in person, JK Rowling is the big dream!

Who am I kidding, they're all my favorites! Hahahah... It's made using an old old 6th grade grammar book. She's so creative, our Jenny!!

This isn't my fave trilogy ever, but I do love these covers and were keeping them just for the fact on how nice they look on my shelves.
I hope her first day went well, Jenny! Before you know it she'll be in high school! Aww no poor cover :c at least it adds a little bit of (unwanted) character. I have a book which was really a prized possession of mine (a warrior cat novel) that was hard cover and my dog chewed off the corners.

I once spilled an entire cup of blackcurrant juice on a paperback book that couldn't be replaced. Completely ruined the book! It was a little over 11 years ago, and I still feel really bad about it...
Here's my "woot, woot": I get to see my dad today for the first time in forever. He has alzheimers and *has* to be in a nursing home because of the severity of his illness. For the longest time, the only place for him was too far away. TODAY he's moving home. We were finally able to get him into a place nearby. I am soooooo excited and happy. It's the best present I could imagine. :) WOOT WOOT!

Yup, they changed a lot of stuff and cut even more. Like, the whole cliff thing where they threw the rocks over were gone. But the movie as a movie was really good.
(view spoiler)[ When Chuck died, and Thomas was struggling, I was sad but not THAT emotional because I was expecting it. When the camera went over to Newt tearing up and putting a hand over his mouth though, I nearly died, because it caught me off guard. And lol about Gally. I also agree about the acting- Thomas, Chuck, and Newt were spot on. (hide spoiler)]
