I've had to change my goal a few times this year. Because it's the first one I ever tried, and I saw lots of other big goals, I foolishly set mine at 125! Lmao once I fell behind I changed it to 50, then realized 50 was a bit low and now I'm at 60 and 8 books ahead of schedule! :)

I got a BUNCH of really cool art pieces in the mail today from friends! Have to share!!

First of all, this piece is an art collaboration--meaning that 3 of us worked on it--me and my friends Gena and Tamie. Here's the final project! Tamie actually STITCHED all of those leaves on!



This one was an art collaboration between myself and my friends Gena, Lori, and Tricia:



And this one was an art piece that was given to me as a gift!!! From my friend Kathleen.

Well, my mother just came back from the province. She went there to attend my aunt's funeral who succumbed after years of battling breast cancer. She brought home some goodies and has a lot of gossip to tell. I am just glad she's home. And of course the goodies were great too. :-)

I loved them all! But yes, the Paris one is GORGEOUS, and I also love the Mermaid one--because of the mermaid (love them) and the seahorse too! I may have to add in a sea turtle too ;) The art collaboration projects are just SO much fun :)

Speaking of, I've been working on them the last few days! I've got a few finished, I'll show those off :)

I started senior year today, and I don't really know what's up. It's actually quite depressing being back. But then again summer break vs. school really isn't a fair fight. Hopefully it'll get better, just am not looking forward to the tests, projects, and most of all - homework. It'll take awhile to get back into the groove of things o-o

OKay, I HAD to share this video with you all. Its a quick one. Its of an 8 month old baby boy who was born deaf and received a cochlear implant who heard his mom talk to him for the first time. Absolutely PRECIOUS!
