So proud of my kids! Hunter my youngest had his eighth grade dance on Friday evening and he looked so handsome. Then Saturday he had a baseball game and he hit a double and three singles!! Woot, woot. He has worked so hard and shown such improvement this year it is so nice to see him having fun and doing well! Mackenzie my oldest has been working with her OTB( off track thoroughbred) to get him used to showing and being a quiet hunter/jumper. It has been a lot of hard work and frustration at times but it paid off. She and Guinness won Reserve Champion in the Long Stirrup Division at horse show yesterday! So proud of them both they are a great team. Woot, woot! :)

I haven't been out of my apartment/assisted living without a staff person, worker, for a medical appointment or with my parents since beginning of November 2013. I was approved for metro mobility which is a public transport service for people with disabilities. I will get some free vouchers every month so I can get out and do things without people.

I get to go out today and use it for the first time. I can't even wait. I just want to squeal. I am MEETING someone OUTSIDE of my apartment for the first time in over 6 months.

I can't figure out what to wear, how to do my makeup and everything. I don't know if I have ever been quite this excited to leave my own home before.
