My woot woot today is that the weather was BEAUTIFUL outside! AND I got out my flip flops!!! I LOVE wearing my flip flops, its been forever!!

The rest of my day was a constant battle with everything. UGH Right now I'm battling my sinuses :(

Should I mention that in Arizona, we rarely put our flip flops AWAY. ;-D

On the flop side of that (see what I did there?), our temps are now up in the 100's (104 degrees over the weekend) so we can't touch our steering wheels anymore for the first few minutes of driving. We drive with the very tip of one finger if the car was out in the sun for any length of time over 10 minutes. :)

The weather was PERFECT today, about 80 degrees, not too hot, not too cold :) Sunshine and a light breeze. Perfect!! We get so few days like that a year, gotta soak em up when we can!

Our weather had been perfect for about a week. Not sure on the temperature, but it was warm without being hot, and dry. Plus we had a nice little breeze coming up from the ocean. That is, until yesterday when I wanted to put some laundry out on the line, when it naturally started to rain, meaning I had to dry it indoors. Figures, LOL!

Had not a great day yesterday unfortunately. Was told that even though I was getting goods on my teaching observations for my teacher training course, I hadn't passed because the behaviour management wasn't 100%. I can appeal but I'm not going to as I think its time to move on now and get a job better suited for me. I've gained loads of skills from the course so it's not all bad. I know that I gave it my all. I can't think of anything else I could have done. I will find something else that I enjoy and I have decided that I'm going to write a book in my spare time. So really there are a lot of positives :)

Yesterday I was with hubby all day because we went out for our anniversary and Kero's birthday (see the 'our furry friends' thread for details). So, today hubby goes up town to run errands and comes back with some flowers for me for our anniversary, saying he'd have gotten them yesterday but there wasn't time. He even spacifically asked them to make up a bouquet of strongly scented flowers since I can't see them so he wanted me to have the scents to enjoy. Bearing in mind, he'd already brought me some books.

We did, and he is... We've been married 11 years now, and he's put up with a lot from me with one thing and another, including putting up with my temper tantrums during my sight loss, my random sleeping schedule, and all my other health issues.

Dress rehearsal night for recital is done & over with! Tomorrow night is recital! Woot! Woot! You would think since my daughter is 12 & she's been dancing since 4 yrs old I would get used to this but I still get stressed out every year! Each year does get a little easier though now that she can manage her own costume changes :)
