Thanks everyone :) @Jenny I have applied at Hy-Vee & Fareway, Walmart, interviewed today at Fareway but they only were offering part-time. I also applied at Mary Greeley & McFarland as a receptionist. I am planning on taking a pharmacy tech book course I ordered. I previously worked 7 yrs for Hy-Vee so was going to try to get on as a cashier until I finish pharmacy tech course with hopes to move to the pharmacy. Perseverance! I can do this right!

Yes you can!! HyVee isn't a bad place to work, or so I've heard. I've also heard Fareway is good, but it really helps to know someone higher up to get in there. You can give me as a recommendation, by the way :) I do know Dave Patrick, he's a manager there.

Good luck, Rose, but I know you can do this! And remember to think outside the box, too when looking for jobs :) That's how I found my current one, and I love it!

I was the complete opposite at the beginning of the year, I had my reading goal set wayyy too high so I lowered it to 50 haha

Okay, my woot woot today is we finally named our cat!!



Apparantly Alison already named him "Mr. Whiskers" a month or so ago. She never told me this, and she's been calling him that. I am like, "There is no way I'm calling the cat Mr. Whiskers."

Tessa loved the name Tux, so finally Alison conceded that his name would be "Mr. Tuxedo Whiskers" , with Tuxedo being his middle name, and Tessa and I could call him Tux. What crazy kids! :P
