Who is your favorite Myrtle Mae character? (or if you haven't read it yet, Who is your favorite all time character of any book?)

I have several favorites. For Myrtle Mae and the Mirror in the Attic they are Esmeralda and Myrtle. Esmeralda reminds me of my grandmother. :) All time favorite is difficult because I have so many, but limiting it to two they are, Santa from The Christmas Chronicles and Scrooge from Christmas Carol. (Yes I'm a huge Christmas fan.)

Feist's Magician. No one thought much of him and he became a very powerful wizard and prooved to everyone that he was someone to be reckoned with.
After him I'd say I like the Druids in all the Shannara Series' by Terry Brooks, and the Knights of the Word in the prequels. Strong characters - all a little tortured but who pull through and become magnificent!

Those books and characters sound interesting. I may have to find them and add them to my reading list.

I will. Thanks. I'm also considering starting to read Stephen Kings, Dark Tower series. I enjoy his books, but haven't read these yet. Have you read or heard anything about them? What do you think?

Monique Rockliffe (swordbearer) | 3 comments I have read them and LOVED them because I am a King fan! A great mix of fantasy and horror, and I've always been fascinated by doors that lead to other worlds to and from ours. One of the books drags a bit but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'd love to hear what you think of the ending! Huge debates over that!!!
