Steph Bennion (stephbennion) | 84 comments Hello all,

I thought this was interesting - UK publisher Angry Robot has introduced a scheme called Clonefiles, whereby people who buy a physical copy of an Angry Robot book from an independent bookseller will also get the ebook for no extra charge. It also looks like they will be DRM-free...

Carro | 47 comments Definitely DRM free. Angry Robot is anti-DRM. They've got their own e-Book shop selling them direct, DRM free.

Oh and good for them in general. Trying out new business models, having an Open Door for writers without agents. Definitely a pin-up for me. :)

Snarktastic Sonja (snownsew) | 28 comments This reminds me, when we bought the hardback version of one of David Weber's Honor Harrington books, I think it was Ashes of Victory, it actually came with a CD of not only THAT book, but the previous ones in the series.

I <3 Baen!
