Is it just me or was I the only one who didn't enjoy this book?

No much action or exciting adventures. Too much details and describing.
But it was good.

I hated it. I just read it hoping it would get better, and in the end, I ended up just reading it for my Book Club.

My expectations for this book were high, lots of great reviews about it here and there and then when I read it was nothing really new. To me it felt a little bit like reading Delirium again. I don't know it just felt the same.
I liked it, but I pretty soon figured out what made this book less than great. MATCHED was all build up for the 2nd book. It painted the world and introduced characters. I can appreciate what this story tried to accomplish but it has no real meat. Know what I mean?

the more i think of this book .. the more idk annoyed i am. i liked the book but i couldnt like it a lot. the second book to me dragged on way too long. i wanted more.. i will read the third book just to see where it will head

But, I did still buy the second book. I'm hoping the series will get better, but too many people are saying the second book is worse than the first so I'll probably end up selling to my local bookstore.

I thought it was very boring it could have been a lot better

The whole idea of the book is such a great idea, but the writing and the officials were just uninteresting.

How come you rated it 4 stars (really liked it)?

Me too, I found it boring and predictable!

You know you love the Hunger Games when you read that sentence and get excited because you think you read the word "Finnick" (Although I hated Mockingjay...)

The second book was a little bit better. It was still boring and didn't appeal to me.
they were ok, not as good as Delirium or Divergent
