((Nah, It's not :)))

message 4: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I stood there in the door way, not sure where to go. I fidgeted about before kicking my sneakers off.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

"Would you like me to show you around?" I asked, putting my things on the table.

message 6: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Yeah, that would be great," I said. "I texted my landlord. He's sending my few boxes of stuff in a truck over here."

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

"Good." I say, smiling. I take off my shoes and socks and drop them down near the door.

"Don't be afraid to do anything. I won't mind. Unless its smashing things, or rubbing poo on the walls or something. Other than that, Make yourself at home!"

I waited for Ailsa to come over before leading her to the kitchen.

All the cupboard doors are red, and the counter tops are black. The roof and walls are white, and the floor is tiled with black tiles. There was a smell of Herbs in the air, mainly wafting from my big herb cupboard. I LOVED herbs and spices.

In the corner, there was a small array of cookbooks, neatly stacked on a bench,

I think for a second, look at Ailsa, and make my decision. I walk over to the pantry, before standing for a second. I ball up my courage, deciding it is the right thing to do, seeing as she hadn't had any lunch, and pull out a plate.

"I baked them this morning." I said, holding out a plate of chocolate chip cookies. My hand tried to pull away, but I used my other hand to hold it there.

message 8: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I laughed at his comments, and then as I saw his indecisive look when he offered the plate. I took a cookie and took a bite. "Mmmmmm!! You'll have to teach me!" I marveled. This was one tasty cookie. "I can cook," I started, jamming the rest of the cookie into my mouth, "but I always burn whatever I bake."
I surveyed the kitchen. The colours were a bit odd, but I liked it. "I'll leave the rest to you," I said, giving him a wink.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

I beamed at her, and took a cookie, before placing the rest in the cupboard.

"ON WITH THE TOUR!" I cried, taking her out into the hallway again.

"This is the toilet." I said, indicating to a door with a blue sign that said, "Beware of cat!".

"Watch your step when you go in there, Peanut Likes to sit in there." I said humbly. I opened the door to show a ginger Tabby sitting on the toilet lid.

"Make sure you ALWAYS shut the lid!" I said seriously.

{{Peanut butters a girl, by the way}}

message 13: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {Awww! I have an orange cat. She's super fluffy, though.}

I giggled when he opened the door, revealing a ginger cat on the toilet lid. "I'll make note of that," I replied in an equally serious voice. Then I stuck my tongue at him. "You sounded like the lady at the cafe right then."

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

I gasp and fain offense, before smiling and continuing the tour.

"This is the laundry." I say, opening another door.
The walls inside are painted red, and the floor is tiled white.
There is a washing and a drying machine in the closest corner, the washing machine on the bottom, and the dryer on the wall above it.

Besides them is an old bath-tub, all done up, with the claw bottoms and everything, for putting dirty clothes in. Above it is a rack for drying clothes on.

There is a window in the wall in front of us, with black curtains that can be drawn across it. There is a view directly into a tree, and you can see birds hopping about in it.

message 15: by Robin (last edited Jul 04, 2012 08:33PM) (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Wow," I breathe. "Nice room for washing dirty clothes. Good view, too. Where'd you get this?" I asked, walking to the bath tub.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I think for a second, before coming to conclusion. "I have no idea. I think I picked it up in a hard waist collection or something and fixed it up. I remember fixing it up. It took a while..."

I lead Ailsa out if the room, and lead her to her room.

"This will be your room." I say humbly {{You can decide what it looks like, just following the theme of the rest of the house. Book shelves are necessary}}

I Lead her through it and open another door, which leads to her bathroom {{Again, you design, following the theme}}. There is another door, which leads to her closet.

message 17: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "God this is cool!" I exclaimed. It had plush red carpet and the bed frame and furniture-two book shelves and a bedside table-was black. The bedding was checked and purple and dark blue. Then the bathroom had crazy awesome black and purple tile and blue walls. "You have the coolest design sense ever!"

{Gonna go to bed now. I'll be on tomorrow, though.}

{{K. Sleep well!}}

I smile, and notice that Hatter is sleeping on the end of the bed. I pet him, before continuing on with the tour.

"This is my room." I said, gesturing to electric blue door down the end of the ball {{You can choose your own door colour}}.

It has 'Cress's room' painted onto it in black letters. There is a slight silhouette of a cat around the letters, but it is very faint. The 'C' is the cats insanely huge smile, for it's head is tilted.

I open the door and the walls are painted white.
On the far wall is a huge painting, painted onto the wall, and over the bathroom door. It is electric blue, fading to black in some places, and has a black silhouette of a tree with a single bird on it.

The carpet it black and fluffy, and the bed frame is painted black. the sheets are black, but fade into white (through blue) at the end, with white pillows.

There is a bedside table at the right side of the bed (away from the Bathroom door). There are great bookshelves against another of the walls, filled to the brim of all kinds of books.

On the wall opposite us, there is a large window, looking out onto a Botanical garden (They're a bit like HUGE AMAZING city gardens that you can visit).

At that moment, a flock of birds is stirred from the gardens bellow, and fly up passed the window.

"You can borrow books from here any time you like!" I say, running my hand along the book shelf.

message 21: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {Ooo! I think I may have visited the Botanical Gardens once or twice while my brother was in college in NY.}

My eyes went wide as he offered use of the book shelves. I went over and stood in front of the packed shelf. My eyes grazed over all the spines greedily.
"Thank you," I murmured.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

{{Cool :)}}

"Your welcome." I say, smiling.
I walk out into the hall and into the lounge room, pulling out my cards. I had nothing to do, so I began shuffling them randomly, making the cards flutter like butterfly's, then Leap like Lions.

I went to put my hat away, before looking at Ailsa suspiciously, and shoving it back onto my head.

message 23: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I hesitantly trailed after him, waving goodbye to the books. He was about to put his hat away before he gave me a look and shoved it back on.
"I only play fair. I won't take it when you're not wearing it," I explained. It would be too easy other wise. Then I felt my phone buzz-the moving van had dropped my three boxes at the lobby. One of my clothes and a few trinkets, the other the rest of the trinkets and a few books, and the last the rest of the books. "My stuff just got here in the lobby," I told Cress.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

As I began to take off my hat, I (again)shoved it back onto my head, glad of something to do.
I smile at Ailsa, And Head down the stairs to help her with her stuff.

When I get there, I pick up one of the boxes and begin carrying it upstairs.

message 25: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I stacked the last two and picked them up, able to do so because Cress had taken up the heaviest one full of books. I trailed after him, wondering what to do when I got back upstairs. I came to the conclusion that I should leave Cress alone {he must be getting sick of me} and unpack.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

When we arrived at Ailsa's room, I placed the books in front of one of the book shelves and watched as Ailsa put away her things. I had nothing to do, so I just stood and watched, leaning on the door frame with my arms crossed over my chest and my legs overlapping.

message 27: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I pulled out all the books first. I shelved them in colour order. I know it's an impractical way to shelve books, but I've grown to know which book is where. I moved onto clothing next, jamming my shirts, jeans, hoodies, jacket, and other two pairs of sneakers in the closet.
I found my iPod in one of the boxes and plugged it into the iHome, playing some music. Dorian, a sad and mysterious band played as I sorted through my knick-knacks. I put most of them on the book shelves and some of them on the bed side table. As I did this I sang along to the music.
"If I had only but known, the lengths to which my heart would go, it's true..."
I hadn't realized that Cress was standing there until I turned around to go to the kitchen to find him, now that I was done packing. I stood there, eyes wide, biting my lip, not sure what to say.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

I laughed. "You have an amazing voice," Before winking, and looking all victorious, and adding, "But you could NEVER beat me at singstar!"

message 29: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I smiled a shy smile at the compliment before laughing and raising an eyebrow.
"Whatever lets you sleep at night," I said while shrugging, suggesting that I probably could.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

"You think you could defeat me?!" I cried, holding a hand to my heart. "NEVER! NO ONE CAN DEFEAT MWAH!"

message 31: by Mel (new)

Mel {This is very hilarious. XD}

Mel wrote: "{This is very hilarious. XD}"

{Are you kidding? This is THE house of the Cheshire Cat and Bella! XD Thanks though :)}

message 33: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {You should have expected only brilliance itself. I did need to Google SingStar, being that we are an XBox household. And that I play video games like Halo...}

I casually slouched on the door frame with my arms crossed. "Mmmmhhhmmmm...Just keep telling yourself that. I don't need to be convinced. It's you that needs the convincing."

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

((My dad is a bit of an obsessive gamer, and He got this for my mum. I'm not as into games as I was, but I played them when I was younger, so I didn't really get Halo. I more attempted car games with my dad (I sucked at them, and still do), but mostly played the Lego ones, like Lego Batman, Indiana Jones and Star-wars.))

I raise an eyebrow and smile at her. "Really?" I coo. "I bet I could beat you know."

message 35: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {I love the Lego ones...I'm also a huge Portal fan. And Skyrim.}

I maintained my stance. "I bet you couldn't. How about...I give you...I don't know, what do you want of mine?"

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

I walked around the room, Searching for anything, when an Idea hit me.

"I get to read your Manuscript if I can beat you at singstar tonight. You can choose anything from me."

message 37: by Mel (new)

Mel {*gets popcorn* XD}

message 38: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I bit my lip for a split second. "Deal. I lose: You get to read my manuscript. I win: I get your hat." I smiled smugly.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

I gasped at her and felt my hat. I frowned at her, making puppy dog eyes, then take off my hat to show her my hair without it.
{{ A bit like this: http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs46/f/200... }}

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

{{But more... upright}}

message 41: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I shrugged. "What else could I take from you? My manuscript is just as precious as your hat, dearest. Of course, if you really want to keep the hat we can just say I beat you..."

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

I narrow my eyes. I knew she would say that!
"Well, BUT, I only get to read it! How about... I buy you one? Or I lend it to you... for... A month?"

message 43: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I was holding back hysterical laughter. "Then it would lose it's magic." I shrugged. "That previous offer is still open."

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

I glare at her, then look lovingly at my hat. I think for a second, before smiling.
"Ok, deal."
I wait for a second, before waving my hand over my hat, making it disappear.
"If you beat, AND if you can find it."

message 45: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments My eyebrows shot up. "What?! NO!" I said, incredulous. Why would he think that would be worth it? "That's rubbish. I'm not a magician. I'm a freakin' editor. That's a rubbish agreement."

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

"So you forfeit?" I inquire smugly.

message 47: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I glared at him. "Oh no no no no. You win you get the manuscript. I win I get the hat for a month," I settled.

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

"Deal." I said, smiling, before 'Magicking' my hat back and holding it out for her to put her manuscript inside.

message 49: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I sighed and tossed the notebook in the hat. "So, how does one play this game?"

{And how do we decide who wins?}

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

{{... I have no idea. We could choose a song from our movie/movies, and someone could be the judge and choose the winner? We could say it was Karaoke, and that could be the real winner.}}

I smile at her and walk out, turning on the machine and handing Ailsa a microphone.
