Robin | 194 comments I rolled my eyes. "I think your cat could do a better job of defeating a villain than you could. At least she's got claws," I said poking Cress in the stomach.

message 102: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress stuck his tongue out again, and replied, "Do you doubt my awesome? I could scare the villains half to death before they could move a muscle!"

message 103: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Oh, I'm sure they're scared. Or at least frozen in their spot because they're laughing so hard," I teased.

message 104: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {I'm gonna call it a night. Later!}

message 105: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress sticks his tongue out at her, "If it makes you feel better to think that, then you can." Cress smiled to himself.

{{K. Sweet dreams!}}

message 107: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Oh, I will," I said, nodding.
I was bored of standing, so I hoisted myself up onto the counter, my feet dangling. "So...Now what? You spend all evening reading the manuscript, thus giving me nothing to do but cook?" I joked.

message 108: by [deleted user] (new)

"What do you take me for?!" Cress gasped, outraged.

"I would NEVER let you touch my spices without having watched and tested your cooking skills!"

message 109: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I placed my hand on my forehead as if I was going to faint, not sure if he was joking. "Oh, yes, the thought! How ridiculous of me!" I replied. I added, "Then what would you suggest I do?"

message 110: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 11, 2012 03:53PM) (new)

He looked out the window, "It's getting dark... I could cook?" He beamed.

message 111: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {Sorry I was absent! On vacation and there was no wifi... D: }

I shrugged. "Sure. I'll sit here and pretend I'm being helpful," I said, nodding while throwing my hands in wild gestures.

message 112: by [deleted user] (new)

"Do you drink?" Cress asks, walking over to the cupboard and pulling out an old bottle. "Will bubbly make your waiting experience better?"

Peanut butter walks into the room and stretches, yawning, before sniffing Ailsa and entangling himself in her legs.

message 113: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Sure, hit me up," I said, laughing at the way he phrased it.

"Awwww, hello," I murmured to the cat, running my hands through his fur and scratching him behind the ears.

message 114: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress smiles, and opens a cupboard with one hand grabbing out two large wine glasses. With a twirling motion, he flips the the right way up with his left hand, pouring a satisfactory portion of red wine into each of the glasses, and handing one to Ailsa.

"Cheers!" He says, smiling, and clinks the her glass, before walking around the kitchen like a king of his castle. "Anything in particular you would like for dinner? Or any particular variety?"

message 115: by Robin (last edited Aug 13, 2012 08:52AM) (new)

Robin | 194 comments I watched as he poured the wine in a very elegant manner, and accepted a glass.
"Umm, no. Surprise me. Hit me with your best shot, as they say," I replied.

message 116: by [deleted user] (new)

I smile devilishly. "I take that as a challenge. Well, PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!"

I tilt my head a little, and begin pacing and muttering, stopping randomly and flinging cupboards of ingredients open, before pacing and muttering again, wine glass in hand. I take a sip, and stand for a moment, swirling the sharp liquid in my mouth, before continuing to pace and mutter.

((LIKE A PRO!))

message 117: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments As I sat there I observed the strange ritual that Cress was preforming. Lots of cupboard flinging and pacing and wine drinking. I stayed silent, afraid that if I said anything or made noise I would accidentally get wine poured on me or something.

message 118: by [deleted user] (new)

((lol XD ))

Cress squinted, deep in thought, before looking back at Robin. "Just a few questions, it's to hard to decide my best. First, Do you have any special requirements in food? Like no nuts, or meat, etc."

message 119: by Robin (last edited Aug 16, 2012 09:12AM) (new)

Robin | 194 comments I smiled. "No fish," I stated, wrinkling my nose. "Hate fish. But no food allergies. I'm only allergic to stupid people."

message 120: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress smiled at her comment, before remarking, "I don't like fish either, though there are instances where it can be nice. Second question, fancy-shmancy-Formal, finger food (NOT junk food) or rustic-pub-style?"

message 121: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I contemplated this for a minute. "If we did fancy I would feel the need to be fancy. So let's go for rustic-pub-style."

message 122: by [deleted user] (new)

"Sounds good!" Cress said, downing the rest of his glass and clapping it onto the table. He smiles, before running around, pulling ingredients out of fridges, cupboards, ceilings, walls, and what seemed to be thin air. Steaks, herbs (S*** LOAD OF HERBS), potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, bottles, jars, and other produce he was pretty certain half the world had never seen the likes of before.

As his bench slowly filled up, he stopped pulling out ingredients and started pulling out equipment...

***

An hour later, Cress stashed away all the left-over ingredients and equipment, before revealing two plates, with Steak, Chips and salad. He smiled to himself, for almost everyone he had served it too had been confused that he had brought out such a plain dish (Not that he had served it to many people).

It was like a stream. Some people thought it was muddy and gross, but some people would look into it and find gold...

OR EVEN FISH!!! XD

He set the plates on the table and refilled the wine glasses. "Bon appetit!"

message 123: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {Dude, that was seriously funny.}

I stared at the plate. Sure, it looked tasty, but it had taken so much stuff to make. Where had it all gone?!
"I know I shouldn't judge before I've tasted..." I started, "but this took a lot of stuff to make..." I slipped a forkful in my mouth before freezing. I chewed and swallowed before freaking out.
"DUDE!! DUDE!! Why aren't you like, a chef?! Instead of a magician! IT'S SO TASTY," I yelled.

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress smiled, and cut into the meat, slipping a piece into his mouth. "I enjoying being able to see the people I have pleased, and anyway, It's all pretty much the same. They all rely on hand-movements, timing, position. ingredients, I guess you could say..." He chewed, and smiled, before mumbling that It could have used a pinch more of some strange herb.

message 125: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I calmed down and continued to eat, savouring each bite. Cress was talking about the similarities between magic and cooking. I guess in his case they were quite similar. Then I caught him mutter something about 'better with' and then some long name, which I assumed was an ingredient.
"Oh, yeah, definitely. Could've been SO much better with that," I said jokingly.

message 126: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress smiled, and continued to eat, sipping from his glass every now and then. As He watched Ailsa with wineglass in hand, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' played into his head.

message 127: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {The Queen song? Had to Google it.}

I glanced up and saw Cress looking at me.
"Hi, my name is Ailsa. Do I have a third eyeball coming out of my forehead?"

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yes. It keeps STARING at me!" Cress said, shielding his eyes.

(Yes)

message 129: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "It's my all seeing eye. It can see right through you," I explained.

{Just in case I'm missing anything, did you have a particular plot-line or something you wanted to branch off from that song? God, I feel really stupid for asking. XD }

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

{No, your not stupid. And I didn't. I Just... Wanted to write it. The post was too short.}

Cress laughed, "Then what's behind me back?"

message 131: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "The back of the chair. Duh."

message 132: by [deleted user] (last edited Aug 18, 2012 04:20PM) (new)

He reached behind him and -gently- pulled out Hatter, the tabby.

"Wrong." He said, and stuck his tongue out.

message 133: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Nope. I wasn't wrong. The back of the chair is behind you. Hatter was just behind you, too."

message 134: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress stands up, cat on arm, and reveals a stool, though it had been a chair when he sat down.

message 135: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "I don't even want to know," I said, shaking my head. "I'll just pretend that that's totally normal," I laughed.

message 136: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress laughed, and smiled, letting Hatter escape with a small slice of his steak.

message 137: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "What do you usually do after dinner?" I asked. I would actually be really cool just reading tonight. Or painting. I love to paint.

message 138: by [deleted user] (new)

"Erm..." He thought. "I practice... You know, cooking and Magic, or I'll read and play with the cats." He shrugged. "Sometimes I paint."

message 139: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments My eyes widened. "YOU PAINT?! NO WAY!!! I PAINT, TOO!!" I yelled, arms moving around wildly. I probably looked and sounded like a dying octopus.

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

((he he he... Nice comparison!))

Cress laughed, and nodded. "I painter most of the house, including the art work and the wall in my room."

message 141: by [deleted user] (new)

((Found this image, and it reminded me of this...
http://amosa.deviantart.com/art/Jayce... ))

message 142: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments {Oh, god, wow! That's amazing and like, totally perfect!}

"AAHHHMYGOD!!! That's AMAZING!!" I yelled, arms still waving about. Then something occured to me. "Is there like, anything you don't do?!" I was a bit jealous. The scope of my talents was very small compared to his.

message 143: by [deleted user] (new)

"How would I know?" He asked, "See if you can find something." He said, re-filling their glasses with the sweet red liquid they had previously contained.

message 144: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments "Mmmmm..." I sipped the wine some more. "Can you paint your nails as awesomely as I do?" I asked, sticking my hand out to show perfectly painted blue nails with silver shatter.

message 145: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress looked down at his black nails, with little blue patterns on them, before looking up and saying, "No."

message 146: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I rolled my eyes. "Should'a known you're the kind of person who paints their nails...Wouldn't be surprised if you wear eyeshadow, either, actually..."

message 147: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress blinked, before smiling sheepishly. "It's for my job!"

message 148: by Robin (new)

Robin | 194 comments I started giggling uncontrollably. "Right..." I managed to say through my laughter.

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

Cress pokes his tongue out at her.

message 150: by [deleted user] (new)

*And drinks more wine!!*
