my longest FINISHED story is 52k. but if joint stories don't count, then my longest finished story is 22k. BUT THAT WILL CHANGE SOON, BECAUSE I'M ALMOST DONE WITH HUNTED!!! (which is currently 115k) XD XD XD

Congrats!
But I feel that, for me, longer isn't better. I get bored or stuck, or hate it at some point. My writing is also naturally concise. Some people can spend five pages describing something that I can do it three paragraphs. If I make it too much longer, it gets repetitive and boring and the plot gets dragged out and it just sucks. So I stick to shorter stuff.
Of course, I'll be spending March doing the write-a-thon thingy and attempting to finish The Thyme in the King's castle. I really don't think that I will even bother to edit that though. I just want to finish it. And then I can be done with it.

*blushes* teehee ... well i tend to rant a lot in my writing. that's the only reason why it's all so freaking long. >.< i get kind of carried away, not only with the descriptions but also with the plot. *sigh*

well my plot just has a million things that have to happen...so it will end up being long...so much more to write..

yeah that's my problem. cuz i keep going, "ooh and then THIS can happen!!!" and then before i know it i have, like, 200 pages and i'm like, "whoa, is it REALLY that long?"
idk. my books don't SEEM long to me, but when i print them out they look so dang HUGE!!!

haha. not the same problem with me, but i do tend to rant a lot . . . its just that they don't end up huge, because the plot is undeveloped . . . ><

well i'll send them to, like, kinko's to get printed out. although that still costs my parents, like, thirty dollars. >.< but i only do it once in a while, so they don't mind too much.

My dad isn't letting me print Hunted out, too much ink and paper. :( And I don't think he'll let me go to Kinko's...he won't pay. :( So I have no way of having Hunted in my hands, at least for now...ah well. :(
