I am SO late with this, and I beg your forgiveness! Let's do it anyway. Quickly, let's get 10 nominations of up and I'll post the poll for the July, 2012 Nook Book of the month club. Who knows? Maybe we'll even have a choice by 4th of July????

I'll start, with A Game of Thrones #2 (A Game of Thrones, #2) by George R.R. Martin It's the second book of the series, (because it's what I'm reading right now, I admit!)

Michelle Gilmore I'd like to nominate 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami .

Tyler (tyleralysea) | 17 comments I second 1Q84 its so good and I've been wanting to talk about it! But since I've already read it can I still nominated it? If not I nominate Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Tyler, there's no point in your nominating the same book, since the first nomination already guarantees the book will go up on the poll. So let's include your second nomination, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Would actually love to start with the first book of the series since I haven't had an excuse to start it yet. :)

Caitlin, the only problem with reading the first book of the Game of Thrones series is that we just read it in February. We need to wait at least a year to run the same book twice. Sorry. Got another suggestion?

I just dipped into Let's Pretend a bit... it's an absolute hoot!! Check the info though, it has a little language. Several of the other nominations are already on my July TR list, so hopefully one of them will be chosen!

We have our nominations...! You guys are awesome! I'll put up the poll as soon as I finish giving my stinky crazy dog a bath. . .

message 18: by Katie (new)

Katie Aww...Lone Wolf, but it's too late :( Maybe next month!

message 19: by Caitlin (new)

Caitlin (caitlinobauer) Oh. Didn't realize that. No worries. These noms look great!

message 20: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Ropelato (tamarahclark) | 1 comments Gone Girl sounds really good. I personally am dying to read Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness though, it comes out Tues so it is probably to late for a book of the month pick. I've been waiting 7 months so I'm just a TAD bit excited. :)

message 21: by Dorsi (new)

Dorsi (kismet1228) | 1 comments I am very apprehensive about reading Gone Girl. I read Sharp Objects by the same and it was just awful. It was disturbing and there was not one character I cared about. Everyone in the story could have fallen from the Earth & I would have been pleased.
