TEE HEE!!! You make me totally smile, a big big big big smile!!!

My fav scenes are the romantic ones that have that forbidden element to them - that tension.

Oh, such a tease Miss Christine! I cannot wait! Honestly, I often enjoy evil, it really lends character to a book!

It's a personal preference really. I personally think you can either read it in this order -

or read LACRIMOSA first, and then DIES IRAE. Just make sure you read Mea Culpa last.
I hope you enjoy the series.
Tina wrote: "Hello. I have a quick question. I have not read any of the Requiem Novels, but I have downloaded Dies Irae. Is this the best novel to read first for the series or should I read Lacrimosa first?"
What she said! LOL! I read Lacrimosa first, then Dies Irae and then Mea Culpa. Worked good for me that way. Go read them any way you want, they are AMAZING!

Snarkalicious!

LOL!!!

Second, I wanted to leave you with one last question, comment, whatever...
I am looking ahead and a future series and stand alone for 2013 and beyond (as I have alluded to this month). I am curious about what you would like more...
1) A series that ties into the Requiem series, using the Seers (Lorelei's race), or
2) A New Adult series about a paranoid schizophrenic who wishes her visions were due to something as simple as being crazy and not related to psychic warfare, something her family knows too much about!
Thoughts?
Ooh I'm loving the description of #2 sounds very intriguing but of course I would love anything from the Requiem series too...but seriously the second sounds amazing!!
And let me just say that you have been an amazing author of the month...interacting with the readers and finding out what we like just as much as what you like too...it's been so much fun and amazing !! Thank you again for doing this with us and we look forward to everything you do ... you are a great friend and a brilliant author :)

EEP! Thank you. I so appreciate you too

A new series sounds good, but I don't know if we can let go of Requiem just yet. LOL.

I'm partial to #1, Chrisitne. Although the second sound different and interesting. I do love prequels and such for series. They make me very happy, b/c once I love a series I NEVER want it to be over!

Ditto what she said!!

Oh, I don't know if I asked this question and I was thinking about it this morning. I know I asked David. What is your opinion on negative reviews. And I don't mean those that are critical of your writing and give you feedback that you can use in subsequent pieces. I mean those people who choose to personally attack the author in their reviews. How do you react to them? Do you think it's appropriate? Do you not care? I know everyone has an opinion but reviews where people personally attack the author make me upset. They have worked hard, even if the work is not the best.

I'm a firm believer in not responding to the personal, harsh attacks. I've had them - trust me. I've had feedback that some of my works are clearly written for idiots, had a person say her IQ dropped just reading the book, etc. Harsh, harsh, harsh...
But, I've also had amazingly profound comments that make me tear up.
Here are the truths I've learned on this -
1) To get the good feedback, you risk the harsh. It is a risk I'm willing to take to connect with readers
2) Reviews are for READERS not me...and they are completely entitled to their opinions
3) For me, there is NO POINT in responding to a negative review. Even the positive ones I actually don't respond on other than to say thank you. IDK, I usually feel like I am imposing when I comment - so unless the reader has reached out to me, I won't always reach out to them.
I will also say that negative, harsh, personal attacks - be it from a reader to a writer or a writer to a reader - are rude and otherwise inappropriate. There is more than enough negativity in this world; I really don't need to add to the noise. I prefer to contribute in positive ways to the planet -
you know?!?
:D

I love the way you think :) I feel the same way no point in being negative it will accomplish nothing but stress and I loathe when reviewers attack the author rather just critiquing the story it's low and in called for !! I can't believe some people but you handle it gracefully like most authors do YAY :)
