If you're the author, or a librarian, you should be able to delete it from the "edit" page. It's a link at the bottom. :)

No, there are a lot of place holders in the db. We would delete if the author said they where never going to be published but that does not appear to be the case

Fair enough, but shouldn't ratings be turned off? Or is that not possible?
Nope not possible and GR currently have a policy that users can use the ratings for many different things including how excited they are about upcoming books

I'm going to leave this until I get a response from the librarian who changed this from an Unknown Book to "Moomin".

Since when is author and title "no information"? Ideally we'd like more, but that doesn't mean it should be deleted.

Interesting that it was updated to "Moomin," which is by a Finnish author, and appears to be a comic, when one user has it shelved as "japanese."
There is/was a Japanese t.v. show called "Moomin", based on the Finnish author's "Moomin" series (or so Wikipedia says). Maybe this is a tie-in book of some kind?

Query deletion: Nancy Drew Hardy Boys Custom Pallet which I think is a pallet as in delivery pallet, not an artistic tool... Had as much of a check as I can from here, but can't see anything other than the standard mimicry records from other imports. Looking at the record history, it is corrected from a bad Ingram import originally.
