Edward Creter (httpwwwedcoolcom) | 277 comments I was given a Nora Roberts book by my mom, who did say I migtht or might not care for it 'cos it is considered women's fiction, doodah doodah. I never gopt to read it, tho', so I'll try both sometime.
Bruce Lee or the Karate Kid? Who kicks more ass? (I prob'ly shouldn'ta asked, LOL.)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Bruce Lee all the way (not even close BTW).

Queue dodge or noob pain? (Sorry for those who don't play online games)

message 3803: by moulin (new)

moulin | 44 comments I'm gonna take a stab at this and say noob pain. Queue dodging sounds like a cop out. Though noob carries implications of a 'wussy strike', I'd rather have tried to fight than cut and run.

Henry Cavill or Jonathan Rhys Meyers?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Henry's better looking and from East Coast. I pick him.

Queue dodging is where you are starting a new team game and one of the players who has just joined the yet to be started game says something that tells you that your team is DOOMED. "Hi, I've never played this before. But this looks really easy. I did the tutorial and I only died three times." You immediately quit the game and hop back in the queue hoping to be paired with a better team. Noob pain is putting up with his/her idiocy and know that you are wasting all of your time on a foregone conclusion but maybe you will teach the new player something and in the future they will be a better team member.

Browning or Yeats?

message 3805: by Edward (new)

Edward Creter (httpwwwedcoolcom) | 277 comments I'd pick Browning, as in Liz, 'cos women authors deserve their place in the sun too. I'm actually considering reading Sarah Orne Jewett. FYI: she's a 19th century lesbian/feminist author. For a guy like me: it's a challenge I welcome heartily. Anyone else wanna take it up?
