I haven't worn one since three months after our wedding. I was visiting my parents and helping them with yard work. My wife didn't want me to get my band dirty so she took my band and wore it on her thumb. A couple of hours later I asked for it back. Gone! We've always found better uses for money than replacing the band. That was almost 18 years ago. But back to the picking! I prefer gold but will go with platinum in this choice.

depends on the book and the age of the child. since I make my daughter read out loud to me at least 13 pages a day out of a chapter book, I'll pick chapter books. And I just discovered Amy Hodgepodge, which I'm loving for her.
