Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Bronze age books. Because it means life got better later unlike the post apocalyptic ones where life got worse.

Aliens pretending to be humans or humans pretending to be aliens.

message 1452: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Hmmm, humans pretending to be Aliens. Aliens creep me out, you never know whose stomach they are going to pop out of.

Old action flicks without much computer animation or new action flicks where most everything is computerized.

message 1453: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Old action flicks, like Die Hard, Con Air, and Faceoff to name a few. :)

bad habit: smoking or drinking?

message 1454: by KimKirt (last edited Aug 12, 2010 05:34AM) (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Purple, oh my gosh! I'm going to fly you in so we can go see "The Expendables" together. Can't wait, I hope it's not filled with computerized crap, supposed to have lots of cameos of the old action heroes.

No Nicholas Cage though. Wasn't Faceoff awesome? That is one of my most favorite movies, Con Air (sigh). Worth it for Nick's hair alone in that movie. Die Hard, nothing NOTHING like Bruce Willis. Yippee Kai Yay M-F-----. Okay, whew, sorry, I was having a moment there.

I guess I'll take drinking, I've never smoked anything in my life and don't intend to.

Yucky dirty sweaty action heroes that knock your socks off or clean muscle bound action heroes that knock your socks off.

message 1455: by Purple (last edited Aug 12, 2010 05:51AM) (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Yucky dirty sweaty action heroes (thinking of N.C. in Con Air) that knocks my brain off in fact. :) I lose count on how many times I watched that one, face-off too.

Fashion Magazines or Health Magazines?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments My boys and I refer to that movie as Con Hair for Nicholas Cage's ridiculous locks. In fact each time we see a really bad hair look on someone we ask each other, 'worse than ConHair?' The answer is always no.

I'll go with Fashion Magazine. The photography is usually inventive and attractive.

More exciting: New cell-phone or new TV?

message 1457: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments OMG Ladies!!! I can't wait for The Expendables to come out! Hello, when's the last time you've seen Dolf Lungren... anywhere. Lol! They picked the best and the worst of the action world and I'm sooooooo excited! Ok, I'm calm now.

@Jim- NC's ConHair attraction must be a girl thing cuz he was H-O-T.

It depends on the cell phone but I'll go with TV. My husband and I were so mesmerized by the humongo flat screens in Best Buy that we bought one that is way to big for our TV room. It's just ridiculous.

New car: SUV or small car

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Small car all the way.

buying movies; Blue Ray or standard DVD?

message 1459: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Blue Ray, it looks better on my ginormo TV ;)

Movie series, i.e. Harry potter or Lord of the Rings, do you buy the DVD's separately as they come out or wait for the boxed set.

message 1460: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments I brought the LOTR separately as they came out.

Do you get another coffee b/c you're cold or do you just put on a sweater and deal with it?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments If I'm putting on a sweater, it must be damn cold. I never even broke out the winter coat last year. But I would still put on a sweater before drinking coffee.

Someone asks you a question about your past. Tell the truth even though it may not paint you in the most flattering light or lie your ass off.

message 1462: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Sounds like you regret telling the truth. I must have caught you with your pants down! ha! I don't know what I'd do, but I'd probably lie.

Get a Sprint smartphone now and end your Verizon contract, paying an early termination fee of $65 or wait till Oct 20 to switch.

message 1463: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert I would just wait. I could buy a lot of books and dvds with $65!!

I have 2 family reunions this weekend, one Sat and one Sun. Both sides of my mother's family. I can't go to both. Sooo... skip both or go to one and hope no one on the other side finds out so I don't hurt any feelings? Did I make any sense at all right there?!

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Pick your favorite aunt. Go to that side of the reunion.

Giving or receiving?

message 1465: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Umm depends on what you mean. Knowing you it's probably not innocent. But I'd still say receiving.

Sprint or Verizon?

message 1466: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert I have AT&T so I can't really say,but I've heard better things about Verizon.

message 1469: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments I'll say Jimmy Choo. My BFF is a sucker for them. I don't own a pair. Sorry, I won't ever spend that much on a pair of shoes. Unless I won the lottery . . . maybe.

If you buy a lottery ticket, do you have set numbers you always use or do you let the random generator pick the numbers for you?

message 1470: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments I'd buy lunch with a fortune cookie and use the numbers on the back. I don't buy lottery tickets! I don't see the point in disappointing myself day after day.

If you win a million dollars, do you use it all up or invest?

message 1471: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Invest,of course if it were in my hands it`s anyones guess

What do you do to relax,at home or out and about?

message 1472: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Usually at home I read or light candles and drink in the bathtub. A long walk on the beach is very relaxing, but the beach is about 5 hours away,so that doesn't happen as often as I'd like.

message 1483: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Neither? I guess I'd go with Local News seeing as I don't have CNN but Jay Leno, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert do a great job of keeping me apprised of national events.

Jon Stewart of Stephen Colbert?

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Jon Stewart gives me the creeps with that mouth pulling thing he does-neither
