Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments When I grow up I want to be an old man. It's in your heart and mind how old you really are. Ask my wife, she'll tell you I'm like a 14 YO boy.

Watching porn or CNBC financials?

message 1302: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert I'm still very young at heart! I just wish other body parts were on the same page.
I'm currently single and have been for quite some time so porn could be a health hazard, but I'd have to pick that over the coma I'd be in from watching the financial reports.

Horror film or romantic comedy?

message 1303: by Penney (last edited Aug 06, 2010 05:41PM) (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Oh, oh, Mr. Kotter, Mr. Kotter! I'll take the porn please! Right after I watch a nice romantic comedy (batting eyes innocently)

"beat 'em all to hell" action flick or "need a doctorate to understand" suspense thriller?
(I have to admit I love them both)

message 1304: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert lol! I love them both, too! But since I watch a lot of the "beat 'em all to hell"s with my 2 sons, I'm gonna go with the "need a doctorate" if I'm watching alone.

Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments LOTR hands down! Better acting, better story, better battle scenes, just plain better.

rum or whiskey?

message 1306: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Straight, I'll take the whiskey, mixed (I'm a mojito girl), I'll take the rum. That's as close to a choice as I'm gonna make.

Ok, this one actually happened to me...
You have a rather close friendship that's become toxic (for you), since you spend a great deal of time with this person ( kids, work etc.) you try to work it out. Just before your head explodes and the sh*t hits the fan, your friend announces that they're moving and within a few months. Do you...end the relationship as nicely as you can before they leave, discouraging any future contact, or Do you leave it alone and hope it fizzles out as you continually ignore her emails and Facebook requests?

Ok, discuss it amongst yourselves...

message 1307: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert YAY,Jim!! I couldn't agree more. I'll take the rum arrrgh!

pina colada or jack and coke

message 1308: by Denise (new)

Denise | 318 comments jack and coke always

cozy mystery or historical romance?

message 1309: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Denise-I'm a hopeless romantic so I'll have to say the historical romance
Penney-Wow that's a hard one,but if she's leaving anyway,I probably would just leave it alone. Then it could be like a "Don't go away mad, just go away" thing.

James Patterson or John Grisham?

message 1310: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments John Grisham - I like his movies better.

Salt or Inception? (trying to decide which movie to watch tomorrow!)

message 1311: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Ben Affleck or Matt Damon?

message 1312: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Ben Affleck is better looking! I heard Inception was good, it did get better reviews and you're totally right, Leo is hot. Still makes me think about Titanic. *sigh*

Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson

message 1313: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert I'll never be able to look at Leo without thinking about Titanic. I was told it's going to be released in theaters again in 2012 for the 100 yr anniversary, don't know if it's true or not. I own the movie, but would love to see it on big screen again!!
That's tough, they're both good looking, but both a little creepy right now,but if I have to choose I guess Tom Cruise.

Suzanne Elizabeth Phillips or Rachel Gibson?

message 1319: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Hey Penney, I don't think anyone ever answered your post above, I say let it die a slow death on FB. Sometimes people just get in a funk, they can for years, and the friendships just, well, they just suck during that time, but you did become friends for a reason, so I'd just lie low and be happy you don't have much more F2F contact left.

Purple, I'll take SEP please. Love sports romances. Rachel Gibson is hit or miss for me. Some I like, some I don't.

Trying to get Jim to read a historical or trying to get Kim to read a paranormal.

message 1323: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments That's easy...sit ups...they don't hurt nearly as much.

Family picnic: breakfast, Lunch, or dinner

message 1324: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Oh my gosh, Kim, you are totally right! Penney, I agree with Kim, let it die. I've been there, and this person still lives around here, but I just kinda let it fizzle out to nada. It's been almost a year yay!

Ok Family picnic Lunch! The night is where you relax and digest the food.

Answer a call that says unavailable or let it go and never find who's calling?

message 1325: by KimKirt (last edited Aug 07, 2010 07:34AM) (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Let it go. I can't stand talking on the phone to even the people I do know, so why do I want to take a chance on the unknown (I'm not a phone person).

Return a "missed call" on your cell phone even tho they didn't leave a message or just wait it out figuring they'll call again.

message 1326: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Wait it out

Your high school aged son doesn't go out on dates or he dates someone who has been out of high school for three years?

message 1337: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments The one that doesn't go out on dates..yet. I don't mind if he waits 'til he's in college. I did and didn't make any significant difference.

You found out your partner's leading a double life. He/She claims to love you both.

Forgive and try again, or leave him/her and move on.

message 1338: by Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (last edited Aug 08, 2010 03:53AM) (new)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Screw that. I'm out of there.

message 1339: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Forgive..but I doubt if I would forget.

Salt the movie: good or not?

message 1340: by Jacqui (new)

Jacqui | 52 comments have to say not as I haven't seen it
