Nissie Lambert Snakes!!! I can stomp a spider or smack it with a newspaper :) I hate them both though!

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments made from scratch soups or made from scratch cakes?

message 1253: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments I make both, but I'm going with soups (in the winter only, I'm weird, don't eat soups in the summer). I just love the smell of homemade soup simmering when it's cold as a witch's tit outside.

If you have kids, do you act silly on the playground with them and go on all the equipment or do you sit and enjoy watching them play?

message 1254: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) No kids, but play with little cousins anywhere we can find to let it loose

Do you shop at regular or organic grocery stores?

message 1255: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Don't I have to pick one? I shop at regular store, it's cheaper.

Finding $5 and keeping it or finding $20 and giving it away.

message 1256: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert I'd show for work ONE more time just to tell them I'd never be back :). It's not just that I don't want to work, but there are a lot of other people who would be glad to have the job. And sorry for dropping the ball earlier and thanks to Jim for picking it up for me!

Find a home for a stray or let it wander around

message 1257: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Find a home

Take out tonight or cook,I am craving Pizza today

message 1258: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Hubby brought home pizza, so no cooking, yay!

BTW, the reason we have so many frickin' pets is because of our bleeding hearts to not let strays wander. Two cats, three dogs, two guinea pigs . . . all strays, even the guinea pigs were unwanted. Sheesh. (My heart loves them all though . . . giggle).

Letting your kid stay up late because it's summer and you feel guilty or sending them to bed at their regular bedtime.

message 1259: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments I don't have any kids but I do have a niece and nephew, but I let them stay up until they get sleepy. I mean sheesh I try to put the lil one to sleep on time but she just keeps yacking and yacking and finally I put her on the sofa with the TV on and then she kept moving around so I moved to the other couch and she followed me and pushed me up against the back and still kept moving around and poking me in the nose and eye. So I moved back to the original couch where she followed yet again but this time she sat on her lil chair and I felt uncomfortable in the original couch so I moved back to the other couch and then she had a fit b/c the pillows were just the way she liked them and I messed it all up. So THEN I said ok time for bed! But she is a cutie, esp when she says water as wawa?

Escaping your kids on your day off or taking your kids someplace fun.

message 1260: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Depends on my mood. There are days they stress me out so I leave them for two hours with Mom and there are days I need to show them that I love them more so they go where I go.

Kids arguing with fellow kids or kids arguing with adults (like what mine is doing now with their Aunt)

message 1261: by KimKirt (last edited Aug 05, 2010 06:18AM) (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Hmmmm, other kids. Sometimes my son argues with us (he's 9) and it sets my blood to boiling. Then again, he's a negotiator, one of his summer day camp teachers calls him "Little Lawyer." LOL!

You're tired and on the couch, do you: Just fall asleep on the couch, too much effort to go to bed or get up and make your way to the bedroom to sleep in your bed.

message 1262: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments I get up and go to bed. I'd regret it if I fell asleep on the couch. But if I do fall asleep I usually wake up in the middle of the night and make my way to bed. Couch=uncomfortable.

Only have 1 cup of coffee left and you put too much sugar: do you drink it anyway or make a whole new pot of coffee?

message 1263: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Drink it anyway-try to water it down with more milk

Did you eat a nutricious breakfast this AM ?

message 1264: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments No, unfortunately not. I wake up too late to eat! Or drink for that matter.

Saying hello to work for 8 hrs or saying hello to 10 kids you gotta babysit for the next 4 hours.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Like the guy. Circumstances change - personality usually doesn't.

your 14 YO daughter wants a nose piercing. Her grades are good and she doesn't get into trouble. Let her pierce away or not?

message 1266: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Not. Pierce away. She shows responsibility and is a good girl. Why not? Unless the school bans it.

Plain brownie that's free or brownie with walnuts that's not free?

message 1267: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Why would I want to eat a sponge? Give me the full fat full calorie version (this is why I need to seriously start jogging or something).

Buying some things in bulk and saving in the long run or buying small quantities that are more expensive but convenient.

message 1268: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments I meant free as in money wise, not fat-free - yuck.

I would buy in bulk but then they would be forgotten.

Keeping your current phone until contract runs out in 2 months or paying the $65 cancellation fee and getting the iPhone 4 now.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Keep the current phone and the better cell phone reception.

Take a new client that you don't want but pays well or spend that same time with your family.

message 1270: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments This seems like an advice column now. I'd take the new client b/c I need the money.

Living frugally to save for retirement or live the wild life now and worry about retirement later

message 1271: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Well, you've got to have some fun now,or what's the point, but I would like to know I have a little security in the future,so I guess somewhere in the middle.

Take a Caribbean cruise or hide out in a mountain cabin

message 1272: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Caribbean cruise! But if a hot guy is with me then I'd choose the cabin. The only distraction he gets will be me!

Having knives thrown at you for a show or being a clown in the circus?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments People wear less and feed you better on a cruise. But you never have to leave your room in the mountain cabin. There's also something to be said for a hot tub overlooking an alpine meadow with the Northern Lights dancing above you. I think I'll go with cabin right now but it's a close call.

The haircolor genie appears before you and asks what color you would like your hair to be for the rest of your life (no roots!). Do you pick blonde, brunette, or redhead?

message 1274: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert There's always a hot guy ( in my dreams)! I guess being a clown since I'm pretty klutzy anyway.

Oprah or Dr Phil?

message 1275: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments @Jim - I'd choose redheadish/purplish.

@Nissie - ummmmm can I choose neither??? But Dr Phil is more annoying so I'd go with Oprah.

Giving your only $5 to a homeless person who looks to be starving or keeping it for yourself cause you are starving?

message 1276: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Wow,Jim! You took the mountain cabin to a whole new level-nicely done!! I've been blonde, brunette, and redhead and I got more compliments on the brunette,so I'll have to go with that.

A good book in bed or a not-so-good book in the bathtub?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments $5 I keep for myself. If I'm down to my last $5, I better have a plan put together.

I'd take the good book in bed. I can't read in the bathtub for hours on end.

expensive name brand software that you know works or cheaper software that has bugs.

message 1278: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) expensive brand that works please

Kids go to public school or private school?

message 1279: by Missy (new)

Missy | 7 comments Size 8 and EAT

message 1280: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Heck I'd be happy even to be a size 8. I'll take the eat what I want at size 8. Maybe the genie can help me with that.

Wearing contacts when your eyes are burning or wear glasses and be burn free.

message 1281: by Penney (last edited Aug 06, 2010 06:13AM) (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments For that very reason I'm wearing glasses right now. And as far as that size 8 thing, at 5'9" I'd be a total hottie if I were an 8!

Beautiful shoes that make you look very sexy but kill your feet or big ol' clunkers that aren't very attractive but are super comfortable.

message 1282: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Beautiful shoes!!

Warm comfy sweaters in the winter or skimpy halters in the summer?

message 1283: by Eleanor (new)

Eleanor | 20 comments Ooh, tough one, but I'll say warm comfy sweaters in the winter. Nothin' quite like cuddling in them in the cold.

And just to copy and be on the same mind trail...

Hot toddies in the winter or cool fruity mixes in the summer?

message 1284: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Hot toddies definitely!! I'm a winter girl all the way!! So let's keep on track here....

Snowboarding or surfing?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Let's see, I was going to say surfing but I recently found this Tiki god idol and I hear surfing could go badly (yes a Brady Bunch reference to those over 35) so I guess I'll go with snowboarding.

and to continue the theme...

bonfire on the beach ending with sleeping under the stars, or big fire at the lodge with stolen kisses under the mistletoe?

message 1286: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert LOL! Watch out for the big hairy spiders, too,Jim! That's a tough one,but since I'm all about cuddling up to get warm, I guess I'll stay at the lodge. The bonfire and sleeping under the stars sounds great, too, though.

Fireworks on the 4th of July or fireworks on New Years?

message 1287: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Oh on New Years I think

Going out to dinner and dancing or settinng on the beach with champagne and him waiting for sunset?

message 1288: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert Absolutely the beach. Dancing with me could prove to be hazardous to your health :)!

Museums or movies?

message 1289: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Right now, movies. I haven't seen one in months.

Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock?

message 1290: by Kathy Anne (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) Sandra Bullock

Friday=Work or play day?

message 1291: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Friday is always work day. I'm lucky to get one playday in a month.

Emma Watson : long locks or pixie 'do?

message 1292: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Long locks, don't like the pixie look, though I suppose she can pull it off.

Revenge or let it slide?

message 1293: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments Revenge buddy revenge! I'm on a mission. Noone can stop me.

Cirque de Soleil or Stomp?

message 1294: by Kathy Anne (last edited Aug 06, 2010 06:07AM) (new)

Kathy Anne (kathyanne) revenge

Report it or make known to the public?

message 1295: by KimKirt (new)

KimKirt | 1638 comments Whoa! Lots of people out for revenge. Okay, uh, Karma people, Karma!!!

I'll take Cirque de Soleil

I'll take report it (although I live in a small town, and trust me, you hear it first from the gossips)

Mom and pop restaurants or well known food chains?

message 1296: by Sej (new)

Sej (sejrose) | 1647 comments But that's the karma for them!

Hmm depends on the mom and pop, but I'd take food chains.

Cracker Barrel or Cheesecake Factory?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Cheesecake Factory - better drinks.

cheesecake or apple pie?

message 1298: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert cheesecake

wine and a date or beer and friends?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments I can see some red wines going with dates. But I'm not really a big fan of dates, figs, or prunes. They're like giant chewy raisins. But if the wine was good enough I guess I could stomach them. What kind of beer? If I'm being offered bottles of premium pinot gris vs a six pack of Natty Light, I'll stomach the date in a heartbeat.

OK, I knew you weren't talking about that kind of date. Since I've been married almost 20 years and my wife IS my best friend, I'll have to say wine and a date.

Know a secret and be disappointed in a friend or be kept in the dark but keep the person in the highest regard?

message 1300: by Nissie Lambert (new)

Nissie Lambert LMAO!! I'm not a fan either. I'd rather eat a piece of crap than a raisin. In fact, the only way a piece of crap could taste any worse is if it had raisins in it!

Well, the female in me of course wants to know everything, but I have been very disappointed and I didn't like it. So unless it was life or death and something I could actually do something about, I think I'd just stay in the dark.

Grow old gracefully or fight it every step of the way?
