Spring or Summer

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Spring - nice cool mornings and shorts in the afternoon.

thong or granny panties?

message 803: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Thong. But do granny panties come in lace?

Take a bath in the morning or at night?

message 804: by Julie (new)

Julie | 56 comments Definitely night. Kids are in bed and I can close my eyes for the first time all day.

Mountains or beach?

message 805: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Beach, haven't tried mountain climbing. I hope I can experience it one day.

having only two kids or having 5 and more kids?

message 806: by Jezi (new)

Jezi (wjrockafellow) Well currently I have two kids and love it, but would like to have four. If I had the money, I would definately have more.

Pond or Lake?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments For skinny dippin'? Pond
For boating? Lake

Be a movie star or a famous recording artist?

message 808: by Daffodil (new)

Daffodil (daffodil--ripcranberry) | 1058 comments I love singing, so famous recording artist hands down.

Series reading: One main protagonist (ie Mercy Thomspson or Eve Dallas) or different couple every time (ie Feehan's Carpathians or Adams' & Clamp's Sazi)

message 809: by ♥Lisa♥ (new)

♥Lisa♥ | 1034 comments different people

Sookie Stackhouse series or the Twlight series

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Sookie all the way! Doormat Bella is about the worst heroine ever.

Ione's Demonica series or Meade's Succubus series?

message 811: by ♥Lisa♥ (new)

♥Lisa♥ | 1034 comments Ione's Demonica series

Werewolves or Vampires

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Vamps definitely. The sex scenes in Were-books are too much like bestiality for me to really enjoy them. As for sex with something cold and not living? I know lots of people who do that with Mr. Plastic Fantastic.

one hour of hard exercise per day or strict diet?

message 813: by Jezi (new)

Jezi (wjrockafellow) I'd prefer the exercise if I had the time, but alas I don't and have to use the diet.

Hot Chocolate or Hot Cider?

message 814: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Have only experienced Thunderstorm and it was terrifying, so I'm glad we're spared of snowstorms.

short hair or long hair (preferred hairstyle)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments On me? Since I shave my head completely, I guess short hair is the way to go. On a woman? It depends on the woman. I know a woman who keeps her hair buzzed to less than an inch. The austere sharp angles only accentuate her long lean neck and almond shaped eyes. Looks fantastic on her. I have another friend who takes her long hair, pulls it back in a ponytail, ties a knot with it, and runs a couple of chopsticks (I know they aren't really chopsticks but they look like them) through the knot to hold it together. I can't picture her any other way.

With an egg and cheese sandwich: Bacon or Sausage?

message 816: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments Bacon, we don't have it often so its always a treat.

breakfast: coffee or tea?

message 817: by Yz the Whyz, Moderator (new)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments coffee

fruit by itself or as part of a fruit salad?

message 818: by Jezi (new)

Jezi (wjrockafellow) By itself. If in a salad, I pick them apart.

Cowboy (chaps & hat) or Businessman (suit & tie)?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments I'll have to go with businesswoman (just not the Janet Reno power suit). Leather mini and bustier is what most businesswomen wear, right?

CNN or Fox news?

message 820: by Purple (new)

Purple (purpletan) | 1221 comments CNN. We don't have Fox news..or I simply couldn't find it.

Lip Balm or Lipstick?

message 821: by ♥Lisa♥ (new)

♥Lisa♥ | 1034 comments Bacon love bacon

sneakers or sandals

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments (but the real question is bacon lip balm or bacon lipstick? I think most guys would like either.)

I'll go with sandals in the summer and sneakers in the winter.

Which is worse? Wrong number calls to your cell phone during foreplay or during your favorite TV show.

message 823: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Since I would never answer any phone during foreplay (duh!) I'll go with TV show

Hot bath or hot shower?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Hot shower. The pummeling stream of water so hot that you can't stand it to be hitting any one part for more than a few seconds before you have to redirect the stream feels exhilarating. Besides, helping someone lather all the nooks and crannies in a shower is so much easier than in a tub. I have a friend with a shower in the master bath that is eight feet by ten feet with a stone bench, a swivel arm waterfall head from above and multiple sprayers covering two corners with head to toe jets. We used it as a backdrop for a great photo shoot. Ever since then, I've fantasized about visiting that shower with my wife when nobody was home. So yeah, I'll go with shower.

*to defend my phone call position above: Most people who have my cell number know how little I enjoy talking on the phone. If my phone rings at an odd hour (after 10 PM or before 6 AM) I'm going to assume it is important enough to interrupt. I get 3-4 unexpected calls during those hours a year. Middle of the day there's no way I'm picking up.

Steaks: rare and bloody or well done and ruined? (no prejudice in that question whatsoever)

message 825: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Rare and bloody... I'm a fan of beef carpaccio(sp?)

*when you describe a shower like that, what's not to like!

Sushi or not???

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments sashimi all the way baby! Slivers of fresh raw fish I like. But put it in a roll with avocado and/or cucumber and it has made a turn into the no-go zone.

Condiments for fries: malt vinegar or ketchup

message 827: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Huh? What?...oh, I was still fantasizing about the shower...

Mayo actually (no I have no need of a working heart in the future). I'll say ketchup in the interest of the game.

Vodka or gin?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Martini's? Vodka
Gimlet? Gin

Grapefruit Gimlet:
Fresh squeezed juice of 1/2 grapefruit
Fresh squeezed juice of 1/2 lime
Gin
Simple syrup

Put two cubes in a pint glass. Fill to top of ice with decent gin (I like Tanguerey or Bombay Saphire). Add fresh squeezed juices. There should be about two to three inches left at the top of the glass. Fill with simple syrup (tons of sugar dissolved in water). Shake a couple of times and enjoy. If you really like you can garnish with a mint leaf or two.

Having people pay you false compliments when you know they don't feel that way or to have an accomplishment ignored when you are proud?

message 829: by Penney (last edited May 20, 2010 10:21AM) (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Oh, you suck! That one's hard. I want people to praise my well deserved greatness at all times, dammit! But since I don't like fake people I'll have to be ignored. Not so bad really with my new Gimlet in hand.

First dibs or last laugh? (stole this one)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments First dibs. I don't play seconds let alone last. If you are talking about humor, 'He who laughs last probably didn't get the joke.'

Pickers choice - since some might feel offended by answering the first question, I'll give an innocuous alternative question.

1. Which is worse? Finding out your mother turned tricks in the 70's or your lover made 19 gay porn feature films last year?

or

2. Pasta sauces - Red or White?

message 831: by Jezi (new)

Jezi (wjrockafellow) Canoeing, although I tend to tip it and go swimming instead.

To answer Jim's question above:
I don't have a problem with what my mother did in her past, so I have to go with saying that the gay porn might be a shock to me.

And I love White pasta sauce over the red

If you were dared pick one of the following to do, which would you choose:
dine and ditch or steal an item from a store?

message 832: by Yz the Whyz, Moderator (new)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Steal an item from a store. I'll be lazy to do a getaway once I'm full. : )

wearing glasses or contact lenses?

message 833: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments Glasses... I'm too lazy to deal with contacts. Put 'em in, take 'em out, clean 'em up. Ugh, I'm tired already!

Lazy Sunday afternoon or day full of activities?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Lazy Sundays here I come!

A night at the UFC fights or a night at the ballet?

message 835: by Penney (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments ...Lazy Sundays here I am!

Night at the ballet for... Even though I do martial arts I've always dreamed of being a dancer *sigh*

Action Flick or Chick Flick?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Usually action flick. I'd have to turn in my guy card otherwise.

Kiera Knightly or Natalie Portman?

message 837: by Penney (last edited May 24, 2010 05:28AM) (new)

Penney (pschoener) | 3553 comments "Real men wear pink and watch chick flicks"... Just don't tell my husband I said that!

Kiera Knightly for sure! I keep Pride and Prejudice on my iPod at all times so I can watch certain scenes whenever the mood strikes

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Batman

sherbet or sorbet?

message 839: by Ren Puspita (new)

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) Sorbet

Ian Somerhalder or Paul Wesley? ^^

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Penney, I'll have you know I look good in pink, watch chick flicks, and even cry at movies. But by law I have to say action movie. Sorry, just how it is.

Ian Somerhalder wins. First he's better looking and second he never appeared in a daytime soap.

Xavier Hollander or Heidi Fleiss?

message 841: by Ren Puspita (new)

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) lol Photojim, have goggling it and my pick is Xavier Hollander
Ok!
Sebastian St Vincent or Marcus Marsden, Lord of Westcliff?
(both from Lisa Kleypas book ^^)

message 842: by Macwolf01 [Elise] (new)

Macwolf01 [Elise] (macwolf01) | 1012 comments Marcus Marsden, Lord of Westcliff

Heroic Duke (like St Ives) or Tragically flawed Hero Vampire (like Vishous)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Having never read one of her books, I'll go with Jericho Barrons only for the totally fake name.

Lacy and decorative or sports and functional?

message 844: by Jezi (new)

Jezi (wjrockafellow) I definately go for the more comfortable sports and functional.

Boxers or Briefs?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Give me liberty or give me boxers! But keep those constraining briefs away from me. - man's gotta' breathe.

J.D. Robb or Nora Roberts?

message 846: by ♥Lisa♥ (new)

♥Lisa♥ | 1034 comments Nora Roberts

message 847: by Soraia (new)

Soraia (sharonbhz) Batman

Angels or Demons (in books)

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Demons. Angels generally don't do much sexin' in the books I've read.

Movie premiere in Hollywood or opening night on Broadway?

message 849: by Yz the Whyz, Moderator (new)

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Opening night on Broadway.
