Well, I don't think she completely ditched him. They left that part open, so the audience could decide what happened. I don't think Mary will go after Howard again. She'll probably somehow meet up with Stan again and they'll have more sex, and have adorable little funky haired babies together and live happily ever after. At least...that's how I believe it will happen. ;D
