Haha, that's good. That reminds me of this irritating boy I have to deal with once a week for an hour at my karate class. He has the biggest crush on me but I don't like him back and it makes things really awkward. Plus, he's extremely clingy and I have a thing about personal space. Basically, if you get too close or are constantly hanging around me, I want to punch you. :D

There were two boys who were super nice to me at my badminton class (if you haven't noticed, badminton was a bad experience). The only people who were, really. They picked me for a partner when I was sitting the games out because we had an odd number of kids - naturally I sat out 8/10 games. *sigh*

Karate is great! Not all of it is physical contact, although a portion of it is, of course. When you start out, it's mostly defense and simply defending yourself and you don't actually start the offensive or escapes until a bit later. It's more about not getting into a fight, and how you can stop that from happening beforehand.

Ikr? He used to take me to the back of the gym and practice. Even though it took him a while to actually talk to me, he would show me pointers and stuff. He didn't have a problem with sitting beside me. It was nice when my other guy friend (who was pissing me off to no end) decided it was fun to take things from my hands while I sat out. He used to get us extra birdies 'cause he knew mine were taken. He didn't ignore me or anything... I wish we could have stayed in touch. :/

Well, he had to do wrestling, and I'm not sure it was voluntary. I think he had to do it for school or something and it was on the same night as karate class was.
