When you finished reading, do you apply the lessons you get from the book to your everyday's life?

Definitely. If I read To Kill a Mockingbird I find I'm more tolerant of society. If I read a book about an awful mother, I'm more conscientious about how I treat my son. If I read a story about a husband dying prematurely, I appreciate him all the more. I hope this is what you're driving at.
Yup! That's what I mean. When I read Torey Hayden books, I am learning to communicate better with the autism children.
