Insanity (Asylum #1) by Lauren Hammond this book gutted me to the core...it was so raw and emotionally and sad and OMG I can't believe this happened ... I want to kick and scream and cry !! So brilliant and crazy!!

The Bronze Horseman (Tatiana and Alexander, #1) by Paullina Simons such a beautiful love story set against a beautiful backdrop on the eve of war...the passion, the devotion, the pain and suffering these two go through just to be together and the devastation of war...OMG this book still makes me cry just thinking about it.

Clockwork Prince (The Infernal Devices, #2) by Cassandra Clare one word WILL *sniff sniff*

Bloodrose (Nightshade, #3) by Andrea Cremer aaarrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh CAN'T BELIEVE the things that went on in this book and I DIED and CRIED so hard I wanted to throw my iPhone :(

And of course Mark of the Princess (The Kingdom Chronicles, #1) by B.C. Morin I'm still screaming NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ;)

I think most recently Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver really affected me. It made me cry. I know there's another...but I can't remember what it is! UGH! Any book that I can speed through usually affects me a lot. Lacrimosa (Requiem, #1) by Christine Fonseca was a recent read that affected me a lot emotionally...that crushing feeling in your chest that makes you hyperventilate, affecting! LOL

I have several that really stuck with me well after reading them, but probably Reason to Breathe (The Breathing Series, #1) by Rebecca Donovan was my top because I just had a sickening feeling throughout the whole book, and the ending was the cliffhanger to shame all others! It's such an unsettling book with a beautiful love story in the middle of it all. Like everyone else, Sempre by J.M. Darhower and Insanity (Asylum #1) by Lauren Hammond had a big affect on me, too. Sempre was just a phenomenal, moving story, and Insanity just crushes you!

I've been thinking and thinking this one over. I have to say that Life As We Knew It (Last Survivors, #1) by Susan Beth Pfeffer got me thinking the what if's of something beyond our control. Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld got me back to reading YA and Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman is what cemented me into exploring the YA genre further. Can you see the similarities? I am a sucker for the dystopia genre.

"Why are you touching me?"
"Because I can." Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

"I'm oxygen and he's dying to breathe." Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

"I was put on this earth to love you. I know no other kind of existance but to live and breathe for your well being. It's who I am and who I will always be." Grasping at Eternity by Karen Amanda Hooper

"A good friend keeps your secrets for you. A best friend helps you keep your own secrets." Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

And so so many more!!!!

Oh wow, great question and there are so many!!! Some of my all-time faves:

“You’re not dying,” he said.
“How do you know?”
His eyes latched onto mine. “Because I’d never let that happen.”
― Jennifer L. Armentrout, Onyx

“I cannot go back to sleep, Evie. You are the only thing that makes me want to live. If you leave here, if you ascend to Paradise, or even if you are cast into the abyss, or taken there by the Fallen…I will have to follow you, no matter where you go. Even if I have to pursue you into the dark…if you cease to be, then so will I. You are my sin and my redemption.”
― Amy A. Bartol, Inescapable

“He always was someone. Because the core of the sweet gum tree never changes. Like Nick, the deep red wood stays true to its nature. Strong, and steady, and pure.”
― Katherine Allred, The Sweet Gum Tree

And then there are a ton from Seduced in the Dark that I loved, but here are a couple...

“The naïve girl in me had been bitch-slapped into womanhood. I’d been razed by pain, grief, loss and suffering, and honed by lust, rage and an acute awareness of my need to survive.”

“Softly, he inhales and exhales as we kiss. He never stops kissing me; he simply continues to steal my breath, returning it to me only when he’s infused it with his essence. Pure lust lives inside him. Every breath I take should come from his lungs.”

There are just so many, and I love the fact that GR has a quotes section for books so we can 'like' them and read them whenever we feel the need! =)
