1. 'J' is for July: We liked it so much in June, lets do it..."
For the one with cowboy, mechanic, etc...can it be a book that has a mix of all of them?

Absolutely! It all boils down to guys and their toys as far as I'm concerned! =)
Any suggestions for category 5 (Fourth of July - red/blue/white cover) or 9 (preferably mechanics/construction workers)? :)

It looks like you can choose a red, white OR blue cover if you want. That might help with your choices :)
But if you want a cover with all three these -

For mechanic or construction worker, if you like spicy...

I am all but cringing with some of these suggestions - it is hard for me to even suggest books to be read out of order! ~shudder~
Thank you both for the suggestions. ^^ I'll probably pick a one-color book for the 4th of July. As for the mechanics - Alex in Perfect Chemistry works in uncle's garage yes, I read it before. Simply Irresistible sounds great though, I'll probably pick that one up, since in Nora Roberts series I only read the Vision in White.
Thanks again! (:
Thanks again! (:

Well.... This is what Wiki says "A duke (male) or duchess (female) can be either a monarch ruling over a duchy or a member of the nobility, historically of highest rank below the monarch." How I interpret that is for it to work as royalty it would have to a sovereign duchy. In other words, if you are talking about an English duke it wouldn't work. I wish it were otherwise, but I think this is the same answer when it came up a few months ago. Sure would be easier though...

Works for me!

Oh yeah, he could work on my truck.... =)

she is American, her ex-husband worked in SA for several years and she lived with him, but is now back in california

This thread is for suggestions and questions for the various categories. The thread for participants is HERE.
1. 'J' is for July: We liked it so much in June, lets do it again!! Read a book that starts with 'J' or by an author whose first or last name begins with 'J'.
2. Happy Birthday!: Read a book from a July birthday celebrant's GR bookshelf whose name/nickname starts with the same letter as yours. If no one has the same letter, choose someone with the closest letter to yours alphabetically. RRRC July Birthday List
3. Geography: Read a book whose author, character or setting is from Saudi Arabia (Middle East). Or because Saudi Arabia has all of these, read a book about a monarchy (royal family), oil, or desert.
4. 7th Month: Lets face it, not a lot of series are seven books long. Since seven is a prime number, read a book that is a prime number in a series or has a prime number of words in the title. For those of you aren't math geeks like me, a prime number is a number greater than one divisible only by itself and one - 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13... (Yeah, this is practically a freebie!)
5. Fourth of July: Read a book with a Firecracker Heroine or a red, white and/or blue cover.
6. Tour de France/Summer Olympics: Read a book that features athletes or an athletic event, takes place outdoors or is set in France or England.
7. All or Nothing Day, July 26th: Read a stand alone book, one that is not part of a series or connected to any other book.
8. I Forgot Day, July 2nd: Read a book that has been on your to-read list so long you forgot about it.
9. Ugly Truck Day, July 20th: Read a book about a cowboy, construction worker, mechanic, set on a ranch, involves cars/trucks, or one that just has a cover with a guy that looks like he was out working on his truck. ~sigh~
10. Reader's Choice: Read any book of your choice.
You can choose 3, 5, 8 or all 10 categories, depending on your reading speed, book availability and/or time commitments.
When posting your progress, please make sure to put the date you finished each book.
Please repost your progress as it helps with updating!
Happy Reading!
