I hadn't mentioned that I started Retief!, which is a space opera about a swashbuckling diplomat. I had gotten halfway and paused while I read Gone Girl as it is a collection of short stories and had started to feel a bit repetitive. Still fun though. Finishing that now!

I'm so excited to get going on our first group book!
I finished Vengeance because of encouragement to continue the series made by two of my friends. They made their positive statements after I panned the first book in a review. Well, the second book didn't get any worse, but it still isn't my cup of tea.
I also read the novelette The End of the World which I got for free. The cover, synopsis, and some reviews really appealed to me. I HATED it. Worst book I've read all month (howdyalikemenow Dead Until Dark lovers?!?)!

Ok, I'm going to have to read Gone Girl and Ghosts of Belfast simultaneously so we can talk about it!

On to Ghosts.

I finished Kafka on the Shore and wrote a review. I continue to adore Murakami.
The Zombies of Hobbiton: A Martian Love Story was a short, free, and terrible book. Ugh. I'm about to give up on the free books.
And right now Gone Girl has me ENGROSSED. It is superb and you should read it now. Intense and dark and twisted. I'll be done in a few days and should have a review up then. Don't wait, just grab a copy now!
