I just wanted to say congratulations on the new teaching post, Emily - that's exciting! I'm not a school teacher, but I do lots of creative writing workshops-- I think the third grade is such an exciting year for reading and writing. These skills really start to blossom...Have fun!

If you want specific recommendations, you could start a thread (new topic) in the GENERAL section of our forum. Let us know what kind of stories you're looking for. (Classics? Adventure? Mystery?) We recommend books every month in the "The best book I read in ...." threads, too.

Hi I'm Sweta, mom to a middle grader who is about to release book 1 of a middle grade fantasy novel trilogy in a few months! She's currently getting done editing her book so it's going to be exciting to read a middle grader's novel because she is in the midst of it. She's going to get onto Goodreads as soon as her book is out!

Hello everyone,
I'm Andrei Goanta, a new author who started this journey in January. I'm a family guy with a corporate job, and I've had the idea of creating a story for quite some time, but like most adults, life kept me too busy to start.
What started as a small hobby quickly turned into something bigger than I ever imagined. One story asked for more, one turned into two, two turned into three.
My focus is middle-grade fantasy, and my universe keeps growing over time. I must say that finding readers for my series is just exhausting. Hopefully, I will eventually find better ways to connect with new readers.
