New Sfsqueecast too with Seanan (I hope it isn't rude to post it here)! Best title ever.

Episode 13: Of Snickerdoodles, Melting Wombats, Oubliettes, and Mother Pussbuckets.

Christina (daria1275) | 123 comments She is one of my favorite authors both as Seanan McGuire and her alter ego Mira Grant!!! Can't wait to listen to the interview.

Charles | 248 comments Done with the Sword and Laser one, moving on to SF Squeecast w/c was recorded last month I think...

terpkristin | 4407 comments Great interview. I'm really not into the entire zombie thing, bit it sounds like hers is compelling. :) She seems like a really fun, down to earth person. I'm going to have to check out the squeecast (iPad tried to change that to squeezers).

Leesa (leesalogic) | 675 comments She is so awesome. Thanks for the great interview!

message 11: by Sandi (new)

Sandi (sandikal) | 1212 comments The timing of this episode was great. I just finished reading Feed a few days ago. The beginning was really slow for me, but the last half was really good. I really enjoyed Seanan's discussion of the history of zombies.

Casey | 654 comments That was a fun interview.
Thanks you two!

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

What was her book again? And where can I get it cheep?

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

October Daye series. Urban Fantasy. Under the name Seanan McGuire.

Newsflesh trilogy. Zombies. Under the name Mira Grant.

message 15: by Lepton (new)

Lepton | 176 comments I found Seanan's unbridled enthusiasm, goofiness, and fangirlishness only enjoyable in small doses. By the end of the interview, I felt no desire to read anything she may have written or will write in the future.

And, yes, I hate fun.

message 16: by Tamahome (new)

Tamahome | 7230 comments Lepton is the Anti-squee.

lulz

I totally need to find a context to use this. Who wants to write Tales of the Anti-Squee? I'm thinking H.P. Lovecraft parody.

John Wiswell | 86 comments I don't know why, but the "cake and cheese" thing cracked me up. I hope to some day inspire such weird SEO.

message 19: by Paul (new)

Paul Harmon (thesaint08d) | 639 comments The interview was Fun but the main reason I wanted to listen was to hear something of the upcoming San Diego 2014: The Last Stand of the California Browncoats Short Story. As a NY Browncoat it is vital to my well being that I know More...NOW! :) Seanan/Mira come back and give me a little something pretty please.

Tamahome | 7230 comments She was just on Geek's Guide talking about harassment on the internet and viruses (explicit):

http://www.wired.com/underwire/2012/0...

Afterwards they discuss Prometheus...
