Affiliate Programs for Bloggers

Hello Everyone,

I have a question; has anyone had had experience with any affiliate program that pays you for linking your blog to their site. I'm referring more like Amazon, or other book e-commerce site that gives you a code (I think) and that if any one goes from your blog to their site and purchases something you get a commission of sorts.

Has anyone done that? What are your experiences? Would you recommend it?

I was checking them out since I have people around me complaining that I'm wasting my time by blogging because it doesn't gives me any money. I already have adsense, but no one clicks on those.

I probably can't help much. I am a new Amazon Affiliate and just started using it. I have not sold any books yet, but when I do I will just use the money for giveaway purchases and books I want. It has been recommended to me and I believe it just takes time.

I am also a new Amazon Affiliate. It was quite easy to add "Native Shopping Ads" to my blogger blog by cutting and pasting HTML/Javascript from the Amazon site into a blogger widget. I am only showing my own books and a Kindle Fire, so I don't really know how much money I can make being an Affiliate. But it's not too time consuming to try, I think.

I am using Wordpress online and can not figure out how to insert the html.
