I'm sorry I feel like this book is setting girls up to try and change the bad boy because they SEE the good person in them. Here's a hint to those girls who think they can change bad boys. You may actually influence them to CHOOSE to be better people but know that the journey will hurt, scar, and break you. It will change who you are and it's an uphill struggle. Just saying... It's not all roses and butterflies. Try razor blades and fist fights. :/

I feel like i want to love Adam but can't stop myself from preffering Warner. In real life obviously i'd be a bit mental to choose Warner (or Aron), BUT one of my favourite things about books is it doesn't have to be sane, you don't have to be ethical about it because the people don't exist. Therefore loving the bad boy is officially alright xxx

So funny that sometimes we get so attached to fictional characters. I find that I'm guilt of caring about the characters in book more than most people in real life.

In my opinion, I love Warner more. It was his other side that we saw in Destroy Me and Unravel Me, and looking from his human side and his villain one, he and Juliette have a higher level of SPARKS together. You know when they are together they IGNITE. Adam is a good guy but Juliette is like fragile glass when they are together. Warner and Juliette, they complement each other and understand each other deeper. In the end I wish Tahereh Mafi will let Juliette end up with Warner. So we can really see what they can do and who they really are. I'm rooting for Warner.

I think the trilogy will end the same way and I think (ALTHOUGH I AM BEGGING THAT THIS ISNT THE CASE!) is that Warner will sacrifice himself in someway for Juliette and ultimately she ends up with Adam.
BUT! I mean who can read Chapter 62 and not be at least a tiny bit swept away by Warner? I dare you! I mean i LOVE both characters and if you asked me after book one to pick i would have laughed... I didn't even understand why we made 'Teams'! Warner killed a man in front of Juliette! But then 'Unravel me' came out and the story and characters gain so much depth.
As to the original question. I don't know about the mom theory ONLY because Adam says his mom died when he was young and that Anderson loved her. Later on when Anderson talks about Warner's mother he says he is 'Storing his wife' which does not sound affectionate... I think the link is Anderson and i think it says he was fully covered so maybe he can touch her without dying as well? hmm... Just some thoughts..

The only ending I see Tahereh Mafi writing for the love triangle is for one to die for Juliette. I hope no one gets killed off though. If Juliette doesn't choose Warner and ends up with Adam, I'll take Warner for myself, thank you very much! :D
How can you doubt about it? Adam is the right choice. I don't understand why so many girls fall in love with dangerous not reliable crazy guy. Yeah, for the first time it could be hot but would you like to end up with him in real life? I chose a reliable nice guy and I've never regret and never be bored. (Sorry for my English.)
Adam is not reliable he is just so nagging.. u can see that in UM, plus warner is so good to juliette, u can read DM and see how much he loves her, and he is so cute.. crazy is cute, plus this is fiction not reality i choose to love these guys here as long as they are not physically or emotionally hurting the girls, as long as they care, and actually this is the beauty of such characters cz in the story u will see their transformation into a better person or how wrong they were understood.This is most not applicable in real life, or if it is it will be a long and a hurtful journey, but i love me a gd love hate romance books and some crazy psychotic tortured heros
ohhh, i'm so upset coz i'm SO team ADAM!!!!, but the fact that it hurts him to touch Juliette and he still wants to be with her, and so does she, but she says no, it just breaks my heart....and warner...i really like him and can see how much he likes juliette but still it has to be adam and juliette HAS TO BE

I used to think like you but Juliette said I don't remember where, that her parents used to touch her. It's like Kenji he didn't burn with his power. He discovered it when he was like 10 guess, I can't remember. Even Castle he discovered it when he was a grown up.
It is really original.. kinda mythology but in ots own way.. the love story is so cute i like both guys, it is about the everneath, a place where the everlivings live, those everlivings feed on human emotions, so they needs forfaits who are willing to give it to them, who are raised to serve those everlivings with giving their emotion's energy, those ppl are the daughters of persephone.. The story is intriguing i like it, and it is twisty, and surprising..

I don't even know how this is a contest. Warner wins hands down. I'm not even kidding, he's so much better than Adam. I never liked the Juliette/Adam pairing and I grew to really hate in it Unravel Me. His non stop whining that he couldn't touch her was pathetic and honestly kind of disgusting. I see nothing aside from physical attraction with those 2 and it's kinda disturbing. This may sound totally crazy but I think a relationship consists of more than just making out and being all over eachother. There should be communication involved, that's usually how you get to know a person. I love how her relationship with Warner is growing slowly instead of just hopping into bed right away. They connect on a much deeper level along with all the sparks between them and that's the stuff I actually enjoy reading. So like I said, it's really a no brainer who should get the girl (WARNER!!)

I don't know if I'm Adam or Warner, but my heart says that it's time to go through with the bad guy. But I do know that I'll cry after reading Ignite Me since I know that they will never work out.

For anyone who doesn't like warner read "destroy me" it takes place in between "shatter me" and "unravel me" and, is from warners point of view after reading it, it might change your opinion of him/ how evil he is.
